He is going to lose around 600k in base salary for the 6 games
DAL could go after 1.5m in signing bonuses- probably won't
Zeke loses the guaranteed status of the remaining 8m on his deal

Eye opening material
He won't be out 6 games though.

What makes you think there isn't another investigation/suspension coming?

Ya they said this one has nothing to do with the girl he did that to or the bar fight. Another suspension is coming

Dallas knew about the young man having issues before the draft.

“There are a lot of rumors floating around about him using party drugs — MDMA, ecstasy, stuff like that — attending raves, and all that kind of stuff,” NFL reporter Ben Allbright told the 94WIP Josh Innes Show on Tuesday. “Nothing substantiated, a lot of anecdotal.

Last week, BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1 reported that Elliott — a star running back at Ohio State — was a roommate of Buckeyes defensive end Joey Bosa and their “shared place was a party destination.” Furthermore, BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1 indicated “sources say they suspect that Elliott was also using molly and ecstasy while parting.”

and the Cowboys. There's been smoke around this guy for a while now. He'll appeal and end up serving 2-3 games and maybe learn a GD lesson to straighten up. I believe the GF wasn't abused but it looked like a dysfunctional relationship that probably got rough. Pulling a woman's top down in public? Would get most of us arrested frankly. Let him get his wrist slapped and move on. JJ won't fight it like most of you think. He's softened over the years and loves his money too much.

Time grow up and act like a pro Zeke. I'm not the only one that's sick of this crap. Red's "RKG" mantra is beyond dead. It might be more hypocritical and laughable than MAGA. (LOFL)

RKG doesn't mean choir boy. It means someone who loves football and will give it his all in practice and during games. Sometimes those types of players have a darker side to them... but everyone and their mother would take players like Ray Lewis, Charles Haley and Michael Irvin, unless you want to be a perennial loser.

The RKG mantra meant less players like Bruce Carter, who didn't love football

He is playing this year for the entire season. This is only the beginning. At sometime he will serve his 2 or 3 games.

I totally understand where you are coming from, but this isn't a good thing. One more slip-up could result in banishment, and there's reason to believe Zeke was set up once already. It's a dangerous tightrope he's walking, and it's not even all his fault.

One more slip up is banishment? Explain to me how Pacman Jones is still active and has been arrested numerous times...

Yeah, never date, because a broad may turn out to be crazy and accuse you of abusing her.

Yeah, those people need to learn. Oh, and don't go to the bar, fights happen there. Stay inside at all times.

People want the players they root for to be robots and to have no life. That's what I'm gathering. All the people casting stones at Zeke and these players have their own issues in their own life and their own mistakes, yet try and preach and judge to how holy they are. It's comical.

One more DV could mean big trouble but it is a new policy and has never been tested

So:

- Lose 8M in guaranteed money

- Let your teammates down by being absent

- Destroyed reputation as a woman-beater

Yep, that sounds like the best thing to happen to Zeke

Hey, when was the last time ANYONE took this guy to task? When was the last time he was held accountable for his actions? Safe to say it never happened at OSU. Probably never happened in high school. So.....it's finally happened. He needs to clean up his act: Period.

Who preaches how holy they are?
What do you mean, specifically?

I hate what's happened to the league under Goodell. He's a clown. But Zeke definitely needs to grow up. His antics are already old.

I don't think he should've been punished for the domestic violence incident since the story seemed to fall apart when the police investigated it. But I do think he should've gotten a game or two for pulling the girl's top down. I remember when that happened and I was surprised that people here didn't seem to think it was a big deal. I'm not saying lots of athletes also don't do that sort of thing, but when you get busted on camera you have to face some sort of consequence.

I am glad someone posted this. It's easy to wear our homer glasses and root for our players, but it's not right to hit a woman. If Zeke did it, he deserves a suspension. My job suspends people who are involved in domestic violence cases. Zeke is looked up to by a lot of kids. That is why the league felt the need to do this.

Interesting thread......if we look at this in the so-called big picture of what we hope is a career, this isn't that bad. If Zeke plays in the NFL eight years, he would have played well over 120 games. Plenty time soak this up and have a fine career. I tell you one thing IF one of my players is going be suspended, I rather this than being druggy like Randy Gregory ( his azz may never step foot back in the league). I'd be real surprise this hasn't the living **** out Zeke and we'll see a different player and person going forward.
With all due respect, I simply don't agree that being suspended for Zeke's behavior is better than the situation with Gregory. Drug addition is a disease. Zeke's behavior is not; rather, it is a matter of choice that he behave in the manner he has.

Get out of here with this kid junk. The kids don't really know whats going on and I wish some people would stop using them as some shield for their own views. I also wish some people stop with the homer glasses like you can't just disagree and it not have anything to do with being a homer. I guess those that don't agree with me are wearing hater goggles since they aren't wearing Boys homer goggles smh. The league felt the need to do this as some pr stunt that gets certain people to believe this is more than that.
