Maybe we should tank the last 14 games

We are a little gun shy, after all, the Red Clapper Butt Slapper has not put together two winning seasons in a row.

The team was amped to beat NYG on SNF -- traveled to high altitude, with softer training camps, in Week 2 against a great defense (probably the best in the NFL).

We got our butts kicked. Butt kickings happen to the best of them (New England let KC hang a 40 burger on them, too -- Green Bay and Man-God Rodgers got throttled on SNF).

But ya know, jump if you want! :D
New England also led going into the 4th quarter. Not exactly the same.

Can't believe the number of fans who appear to have given up on the season and players after ONE loss with 14 games left. It's a bit disappointing coz I'm sure a lot are veteran fans who should know better. Fact is throwing the towel after two games is waaaaay too early.......... we're better than that. Be patient and trust the season, it's a long one.

Hopefully all that talk is from Millennials...

Don't get me wrong, some Millennials are great people but they seem to have a high ratio of crybabies in that group.

Really. It's just a lot different with a loss that ugly. If it happens again, then the fate of the season is pretty much etched.

The hope is that Moore and Irving add a jump in the pass rush, and that the rookie corners get their feet under them soon. Personally, I need to see a good defensive effort against a good offense.

Some unreasonable posters have commented that the season is over.

One, two games into a season. One, two games remaining in a season. Does not matter. Wishing your favorite team to lose in the present for an non-guaranteed gain in the future is illogical.

Which is exactly why some people do it. Humans.

I do think this team's real opportunity is a year or two out. If Dak develops on schedule, the defense should be pieced together by then.

But anything can happen. The Cowboys are probably the 7th or 8th best team right now. Lots of twist and turns (and injuries) that will change the league the rest of the way.

Dallas will win this division, I believe.

I know. I honestly like the passion that is on here most of the time. There's always a few guys that always find the negative in everything and roll their eyes with certain threads because how dare anyone think different than them. But it got Twitter ridiculous on here this week. A bunch of knee jerk reactions with everyone on the team and connected to the team needing to be fired. Fans were very angry

Oh contrare, mon frere.

Quite a few have. Sad, after one (really bad) loss.
Yep. The laugh will be on them after Mondays game...the Club will beat the Cardinals and it will be back to normal for a week.

Sad part of the thread title is...that it is believable due to some in our fan base.
