Wou can disagree, but you'd be incredibly wrong

We can all hate on the guy (RW), he deserves alot of it. But Amendola is nowhere near as good as Roy Williams is. If cap wasnt a factor, the Rams would fall all over themselves to trade him straight up for RW. Almost anybody would.

Amendola is a career 4/5 WR at best. His yds per recption numbers resemble a FB. Which is pathetic.

Let's see. Amendola was on a horrible offense, had absolutely no other receiving weapons around him, and still caught 85 balls for almost 700 yards and 3 TD's. Plus he is a solid returner as well, so he DOES have value on special teams.

No, they wouldn't trade Amendola straight up for RW. Us as Cowboy fans have a tendency to overvalue our own talent. Ask a fan of any other team and they would take Amendola any day. He's consistent.

Amendola caught a pass in every game, and only had one game with 1 reception. Every other game he caught 3 or more passes (with the exception of one game).

RW on the other hand went THREE games with ZERO catches. He also had THREE games with 1 reception.

Amendola is more consistent and productive than Roy Williams. Plus, Amendola is 25 years old, and has way more upside than RW, who will not get any better (he wasn't good to begin with).

Hurd is a far better special team player than Amendola is a WR.

If Hurd got Amendola's reps, he would post far better numbers. At least he can run after catch some.

I'm not into playing hypotheticals. "What if" this player got "this" player's reps. The bottom line is, Hurd is a "JAG" and nothing more than a special teams player.

Are we comparing who's the better special teams player? No. Amendola is a much better WR than Hurd and it isn't even close.

Never in the history of football has someone gushed as much over utter mediocrity. Barely 8.0 yds per reception is one of the alltime worst marks ever for a WR with anywhere near that many catches.

I said Hurd's a better special teamer than Amendola is a WR, and he is.

Say what you want about mediocrity, but Amendola was productive this year on a horrible, horrible offense with a rookie QB. Ever think maybe Bradford had to get rid of the ball quicker due to the ineptness of the offensive line, or the other WR's not getting separation? It's not fair to demean his production.

Okay, there is this huge fallacy that Hurd is this amazing special teams player. He was so amazing that the Cowboys were close to cutting him in training camp.

You're missing my point. Amendola would be a better #3 WR than Roy Williams in Dallas, in the arena league, and in the UFL. Add Hurd to that list as well. Your #3 WR doesn't have to play a great amount of special teams (see Patrick Crayton).

Amendola > RW > Hurd

Bottom line.
