Yeah, l like Mugabi..Ugandan...same as Boza Edwards...Remember his fight with Hagler!
Yeah I really liked "The Beast"... I remember Mugabi was the #1 fighter for Hearns title and James Shuler was the #1 for Hagler's and they wanted Hagler vs Hearns 2 and I remember they made Mugabi fight Hagler instead and I was upset because I think Mugabi might have beaten Hearns and I think backroom politics came in to switch Hearns fights Shuler and Hagler fights Mugabi.

Yeah...don't believe anything you see in boxing!! Yeah Shuler was a Joe Frazier fighter and had a terrible KO loss to Hearns. Died shortly thereafter in a motor cycle crash??

Hagler vrs Hearns was the best fight l ever watched. Both fighter were evenly matched, came to fight and were motivated to win. Just doesn't get better than that.

I think I like MMA so much better because there are more of those guys that give it their all compared to just playing it safe. A Guy Like Clay Guida who might not be the best and would come up short in some big matches but the kid was non stop the whole match and when you watched him fight you knew the kid gave everything he had and did not hold anything back.

My issue with MMA is if you have 2 fighters that can't beat one another in the ground game then it turns into a weak boxing match where both guys badly lack defensive skills.

Sugar Ray Leonard. I am tired of hearing Mayweather is undefeated and should be considered the best. If the time was a time warp. Sugar Ray would have destroyed him. Don't think so Leonard destroyed Floyd Mayweather's Dad.

Floyd turned out to be better than his uncle and his father COMBINED!

Styles make fights. Floyd would not lose his flawless defense even against Leonard.

I couldnt see Leonard getting anything better than a draw.

Come on, man..... Floyd could have won just about EVERY round he ever fought as a pro.
He lets guys in for a round or two.... and that therein lies his 10 rounds to 2 average win margin.

Look at how his father fought. He fights the same with his left shoulder as a shield and Sugar Ray roasted his Father and would have done the same to Big Mouth Jr.... Also no bs knockouts like when he fought that Spanish fighter who was trying to be polite after a low blow and trying to give a respectful hug as a fair fighter and Mayweather took the punk way and cheapshot him. Mayweather should have been disqualified for that fight.
Lol Youre talking about the Ortiz fight and he deserved to knocked out. He didnt low blow Mayweather, he intentinally head butted Mayweather, and tried to hug for like the 5th time. Btw, Mayweather is 20x the fighter his father or uncle was and would give any fighter from any era a problem

I think if the heavyweight division were any good, boxing would be more popular. There are a lot of good middle weight and lightweight fighters.

Lennox Lewis made the heavyweight division "safe"... careful boxing... no real excitement. Got knocked to ***** out twice each time with one punch. To his credit he avenged both losses with a vengeance. But it took THAT to get that out of him, meh...

The Klitscko's made it "safest".... they fought tomato cans..... Wlad got knocked out by a couple of tomato cans. Ironically enough... his best fight was his last one when he got off the canvas.... SHOULD have finished off Joshua... but just didn't... couldnt....? Joshua was spent!

Anyhoo...

Sometimes I wonder if in the 90's boxing took it's fall.
I mean I watched pretty much every pay per view from early 90's to early 2000's
and there was so much bad and shady stuff that went on.
