I think he had his best game as a pro today. He was more disruptive in the NY game, however Washington has a much strong interior OL. Hopefully he keeps building. He has a favorable matchup this week with NY again
Former cowboys weakling center helps a bit ...

It generally takes three years for a DT to start figuring things out.

Doesn't mean he will. Needs to keep stacking good days.

I'm going to rewatch the game tomorrow to look for individual play, Smith and Kneeland were 2 guys I wanted to focus on.

He's shown notable improvement since he arrived. DTs take time to develop, and Mazi was a known project. Year 3 is generally when the light turns on for these guys, and considering the flashes we've seen this year, it looks like he's on track despite the setbacks he went through with the previous defensive scheme.

not saying mazi will amount to anything…. But historically nose tackles take a couple years to develop. Next year will be make or break for him in my opinion. But he’s shown flashes enough to get that at least.

He is getting a bit better, hope the light is finally coming on since there won’t be an elite DT coming in this next draft.
I am hopeful with Mazi. That said, Mason Graham has traits, in the right scheme he could be elite... I'm serious too.

Tyler has had a very good year
,,, except for that weakling part, sure . My god, it's like nobody remembers anything. This league is largely comprised of crap teams where some players can enjoy success on some Sundays. Heck, this team rolled off several 12 win seasons without ever being serious contenders.

It’s funny lots of players the board pooped on throughout the season played well. Mazi has been below average most of his NFL but he has improved since his rookie season. Maybe season 3 is his breakthrough year. Defensive tackle is not an easy position to play.

I know Mazi came in as a project. I also know all the physical ability is there. I just wonder how much the guy loves football, and that might be a reason why he's been so hot and cold so far.

In the Big Ten he was bigger and stronger than 90 percent of the guys he faced. With the playing field evened he's looked too ordinary too often.
