Not a 1st rounder. Two down DTs rarely if ever are 1st rounders in the modern era.

Because there will be better players on the board at other positions. They can't reach for a dtackle when they can get a much better player.

Vita Vea was the Bucs top pass rusher in 2022.

Clark played 78% of snaps in 2022. That is relatively high number for a 3-4 NT.

Dexter Lawrence played 82% in 2022.

Run plugger-only DTs often play about 60% or less.

Schmitz would be a better left guard than Torrence in my opinion.

And Schmitz has more position flex.

The only Bowl Game he played in was the Fiesta Bowl against TCU.

I watched that entire game as well. He was handled by the TCU guard Avila. I guess I mixed up the games. TCU was awful but I was watching the 1 on 1 match ups. I'm hoping we get the Michigan Kicker. Dude is automatic.

Funny thing is Nolan Smith and mazi aren't much different. 2 guys that are athletic freaks with minimal production. Yet only one is seen as a boom or bust

Mazi seems like a JFG…just a fat guy.
The TCU game tape is bad. They run right past him over and over. Didn’t look like they had to double him at all. I actually hold it against him playing for Harbaugh too. At one point I was thinking maybe Mazi in the third, but after watching more tape…passssssss
