These are all the players who have at least 16 red zone carries and 4 red zone touchdowns. If you can't score at least once every other game, and you don't get the ball at least twice a game in the red zone, you don't deserve a place on this list.

MBIII leads the league by far in yards per rush in the red zone with an unreal 4.1 yards per rush. This thanks in part to the fact that he is the only player on the list who has never been stuffed in the red zone (tackled for a loss).

Barber is also tops in percentage of carries that result in either a first down or touchdown (50%). (TD's also count as first downs). No other player even comes close to this kind of success rate.

This is dominance.

Hmm, i see how all the other guy on the lists, are the dispusted #1 RB, with no one taking carries from them.

Barber is what he is. A great compliement to JJ. great Redzone back., but i dont care what your stats show. If i was at the goaline, i'd take Jonhson(both), and LT, over barber everyday

He's a really good 3rd down back. I think the combo right now is working great. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

There's no comparison in this red zone comparison...

Julius
34 rushes 3.0 ypr 2td 6fd (4 stuffs 6 yards lost)
18% of all RZ carries result in 1st down or TD

MBIII
22 rushes 4.1 ypr 6td 11fd (0 stuffs 0 yards lost)
50% of all RZ carries result in 1st down or TD

Maybe we should also use him more when we are backed up on our goal line.

I think using that red flag on Parcells's hip would fix that problem.

remember barber is usually fresh when he comes in down there at the goal line...while LT is playing the whole game..he is good but would he be that good if he had the ball 25 times a game?

No way.

He also wouldn't have these numbers if it weren't for the presence of TO, an excellent red zone receiver. Throw in Romo, who's been a huge red zone improvement over Bledsoe.

I'd make sure he was our RB inside the 20 though.

If MB3 was the RB last week they may have not given up that Safety!!!

I wish MB3 would get more carries!!!

Id take them both regardless of where we are on the field.

I wish Parcells would use Barber in the 1st qtr to punish the defense...because he brings the freaking wood when he runs...

Then in the 2nd qtr run little JJ for a change of pace now that the defense is wondering, "What the hell....!"

Then in the 3rd, bring Barber out again to smash their mouths again!

Then in the 4th...put both of them in the backfield togeather!

That's what I would like to see...

Where are those stats from? I'm curious to see what Brandon Jacobs' numbers in the red zone are. He's a load...

si.com
Scroll down to the split "Opp 19-Goal"

Notice that Brandon Jacobs didn't even make my list with only 14 red zone carries (less than two carries per game) for a 2.1 ypc, 4 TD's, and 6 first downs with a couple of stuffs.

With 58 total carries, Jacobs should be just as fresh and rested as Barber, but Barber almost doubles Jacobs' yards per rush and 1st downs.

In MBIII, the Cowboys have a creature that does not exist on any other team.
