when he finishes a run at least one of the tacklers gets up looking like he wished someone else had made the tackle.

These are all the players who have at least 16 red zone carries and 4 red zone touchdowns. If you can't score at least once every other game, and you don't get the ball at least twice a game in the red zone, you don't deserve a place on this list.

MBIII leads the league by far in yards per rush in the red zone with an unreal 4.1 yards per rush. This thanks in part to the fact that he is the only player on the list who has never been stuffed in the red zone (tackled for a loss).

Barber is also tops in percentage of carries that result in either a first down or touchdown (50%). (TD's also count as first downs). No other player even comes close to this kind of success rate.

This is dominance.
looks like Lt dominates in the redzone to me

If MB3 was the RB last week they may have not given up that Safety!!!

I wish MB3 would get more carries!!!

That was going through my head when Jones ran the ball. If you depend on Barber to get the ball into the endzone in close well defended yardage situations, why wouldn't you use him to get out of the endzone under adverse circumstances.

You don't add TD plus first downs, because the NFL counts all TD's as first downs. That means 19 of LT's 30 carries have not resulted in either a first down or TD. LT is more hit or miss, then. The 10 TD's are a big number, but the other 19 unproductive carries are the price the Chargers pay for it.

Those are 19 plays that could've been used to throw to Gates (who only has 2 red zone TD's), for example. The Cowboys have 9 red zone TD passes to the Chargers' 4. In total red zone TD's the Cowboys lead the Chargers 20 to 15. IOW both teams have had the opportunities, but the Cowboys have made the most of them, because they've been better at using all their weapons.

When Terry Glenn has more red zone TD catches than Antonio Gates, the Chargers are doing something wrong. And the Cowboys are doing it right.

Marion Barber is like a bowling ball and the defenders are pins.
