MBIII in multi or empty back field alignments

I was curious - does anyone know if MBIII did better with a lead blocker or in ace formations? I can't really remember either standing out. I ask because I am reminded of Deon Anderson - I enjoyed his brief interview on HK, but wonder if we will carry 4 RBs (3 HB and 1 FB).

Jason likes FBs so we should keep one plus have some hybrid RB-FB or TE-FB on call.
