I think this says a lot. Mike wants more complimentary football. He doesn’t care about having the #1 ranked offense. This is good.
All of this makes perfect sense doesnt it fivetwos?I honestly can’t believe Mike actually said that.
I really can’t.
It’s wonderful to hear, but I’m truly surprised he went that far.

This situation reminds me of year three under ParcellsAll of this makes perfect sense doesnt it fivetwos?
I mean,
since in all his time as a play caller at his previous team and now in an offseason where he has a washed up and injured RB as his returning starters, this coach is touting a run first approach?
I'll be the first to say sign me up for this.
But in the back of my mind I'm more like this is lip service and seeing is believing.
jmo
At least he's saying all the right things so far.
The "formula" for 2016 was 3 HOF quality olinemen in their prime all making All Pro, plus two other quality olinemen, and a rookie RB who was the 4th pick of the draft and played up to that pick, making All Pro too.I think we’re going back to the 2016 formula but with better players and a QB who is not a rookie anymore.

Don't think we ever got 3 All Pro linemen in one year, going back to the Emmitt SB years.
There's no going back to that in the near future.
