McCarthy / Garrett

Possible they get off to a better start, but once you lose your QB, LT, RT, RG, C you just can't win realistically.

Cant believe im about to say this, but where this team would probably benefit from the old staff is on the defensive side of the ball. I couldn't stand rods basic scheme, but he typically got the best effort out of his guys. The only thing soft about rods defense was his coverage, and we certainly wouldn't get guys pubkically stating that they can't play hard for a full game.
ok, what about the defense? this defense is an all time bad.......

We would be 0-7 right now, maybe I'll give him 1-6. The 2015 season is still not comparable with the injuries this year. Garrett has never lost an entire OL and his starting QB...this is about as bad as it can get for an injury situation.

Let me think about that.

Garrett won like 11 of his last 12 games in the NFC East.

McCarthy is setting club records of his own. None of them positive.

Garrett's time was up. Time for a change. But he was never inept and the Cowboys never quit on him. This team has quit.

How can anyone think this?

No coach was ever less equipped to deal with injuries than JG.

I don't know that Dallas has so many injuries with Garrett as coach. I know it sounds weird but I think there is some practice discipline missing. I know injuries happen but I can't help to think that sloppy play and other factors have accented how many injuries Dallas has had. For example, does Dak have to take a hit on the other end of that run if Dallas handles the Giants like they were supposed to? Does Dak even get a run play called for him?

They didn't have as many injuries, no, but what has happened to the OL this year doesn't really have anything to do with being sloppy I don't think. Collins and Tyron were hurt in practice/training. Frederick retired because of an illness, and Martin got hurt with just bad luck.

The injury like Dak's is just one of those things that happens. You're not wrong, but you can't second guess that way, you could do that for playcalls that lead to injuries like that for every guy who has ever gotten hurt. You could sit here and blame Washington's coaches for calling a flea flicker too lol.

Would be be in better shape now with Garrett and have a more competitive team?

Garrett and Marinelli look like SB champs compared to these new yes men bozos we brought in.....

The Giants offense, while bad, manage to still move the ball and score with Danny Dumps giving up the football, no Saqon, missing their WR most of the year, and starting with a trash o-line. Not saying I'd want Garrett here at all since that clearly failed, but man its disheartening watching a bad Gaints football team still go out there and be competitive. And Rod's defense at the very least wasn't giving up bombs every drive......

as bad as it is...i still roll with mccarthy all day over garrett.
if we would be better its only because of continuity...with no off season and everything the same...there is an advantage there.
but i still take mccarthy and this staff over last years bunch.
