He's been focused on the 2026 GM cycle for 30+ years now.Breaking: Jerry Jones has decided to focus on 2026 GM Cycle..
If that’s true, then I’ve decided to remove my name from Heidi Klum’s cell phone. Tell her I’ll sit this year out.
Exactly......tons of respect for not selling to Jerry. Something interesting during this process is that no one is talking much about how Jerry is tying Dak's contract in with Shotty. New NFL coaches generally receive 5-year contracts by standards. This was the deal killer for Jerry and MM. Jerry wasn't willing to give the next coach no more than 4 years which is the same timeline Dak's contract ( it's actually three ).Good for him. Still the biggest winner of this cycle. He and Jimmy are the only Cowboys coaches to tell Jerry to go himself.
Yeah this is exactly why MM walked, and exactly whats wrong with the Schottenheimer hire. Its nothing against the guy as a coach, but this was a hire all about staying the course.Exactly......tons of respect for not selling to Jerry. Not true.......many believe the Saints need to move on from their GM ( Mickey Lomis ). He's been their GM since Hurricane Katrina (2002 ). Johnson and Kingsbury refused to interview, Glenn turned down an offer and chose the Jets, and he could not agree with McCarthy.Lmaooo and everyone thought he stiffed Jerry turns our noone wants the fat lard
Will he be focusing on analytics in a barn?
Exactly .........Loomis been there since 2002. Many insiders think he's holding the team back from attracting quality candidates. Glenn turned him down for the Jets. Kingsbury and Johnson refused to interview and he could agree with MM. Interestingly, it had to be some serious issues for MM to walk away KNOWING this was his final shot during this cycle. After he lost out on the Chicago job I'm glad MM isnt getting a shot this year. New Orleans just seems like a disaster for the next couple of years.
Especially oursGood for him .........could be 5-7 openings
