Absolutely. Whoever gets that job has a massive uphill battle to not be the sacrificial lamb in 2-3 years. Its still an NFL job so I'm sure a young guy like Moore will jump at the opportunity, but anyone with some tenure is likely proceeding with caution.Exactly .........Loomis been there since 2002. Many insiders think he's holding the team back from attracting quality candidates. Glenn turned him down for the Jets. Kingsbury and Johnson refused to interview and he could agree with MM. Interestingly, it had to be some serious issues for MM to walk away KNOWING this was his final shot during this cycle.
BTW .....they will need a new QB coz Carr has already stated he will not take a pay cut.
