Exactly .........Loomis been there since 2002. Many insiders think he's holding the team back from attracting quality candidates. Glenn turned him down for the Jets. Kingsbury and Johnson refused to interview and he could agree with MM. Interestingly, it had to be some serious issues for MM to walk away KNOWING this was his final shot during this cycle.

BTW .....they will need a new QB coz Carr has already stated he will not take a pay cut.
Absolutely. Whoever gets that job has a massive uphill battle to not be the sacrificial lamb in 2-3 years. Its still an NFL job so I'm sure a young guy like Moore will jump at the opportunity, but anyone with some tenure is likely proceeding with caution.

Sucks for McCarthy because he was about to enter the top 10 all time wins for a coach. Now he'll probably get past by inferior coaches like Payton.

I don't know, 3 12-5 seasons under the Jones culture is no small feat.

He's waiting for Jerry to fire Schottenheimer so he can come back to Dallas.

I think it was decided for him to wait until 2026.

He had an option for the Saints but it was reported that he turned them off.

Good maybe he can focus on his weight, blood pressure, and A1C.

Lmaooo and everyone thought he stiffed Jerry turns our noone wants the fat lard
honestly, and I have nothing concrete to go on, but I think Chicago expressing interest is what did him in. Think he wouldve stayed, probably took it on the chin a bit to stay, but when Chicago came calling it threw a wrench in things on both sides.

.....sounds like MM is saving grave, bowing out of contest.

He wasn't what they thought he was. Now probably wishing, he took Jerrys contract.

Good idea.

Next year it could be openings in at least half of the AFC North, AFC South and NFC South, along with MIA, NYG, and AZ.

Those are some good openings.

With teams looking for younger HC’s he could be done as an NFL HC. None of the HC’s Jerry moved on from Gailey, Campo and Garrett got another NFL HC job.
