See above post. McCarthy did develop Rodgers.
Rodgers-McCarthy relationship was bad from the start, report says (yahoo.com)
Coaches and players don’t need to get along. They need to work together though, and the working relationship seemed flawed at best. According to Dunne’s story, Rodgers had constant private complaints about McCarthy. Rodgers would call one confidant, Dunne said, to vent that McCarthy “didn't have a clue what he was doing.”
"Mike has a low football IQ, and that used to always bother Aaron
," that source said. "He'd say Mike has one of the lowest IQs, if not the lowest IQ, of any coach he's ever had."
Sound like AR was taking any advice from MM?
As for MM sound similar to complaints the last 2 seasons a lot of people have

Anyone taken a good look at self-proclaimed "highly successful NFL coach" Big Mac's coaching tree?

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...himself-a-highly-successful-nfl-coach-at-4-5/

Do the names Joe Philbin & Ben McAdoo ring a bell?

Cause that is the extent of assistants who have gone on to have (indisputably unsuccessful) head coaching careers after coaching under Big Mac.

Ever stop to consider why Big Mac, a SUPER BOWL winning coach with 15 years in the NFL, is not known around the league or developing assistant coaching talent and why there are so many whispers that without Favre or Rodgers at QB he might not be all that?

AR did not need to tell me that MM was simple.

Was fairly obvious from DAY ONE.
