I would also not be surprised if the "outside" of the call sheet is fake or outdated information that they hope will be stolen.

Coaches are not idiots. They know teams have modern day technology so they purposely defend against it.

It's the same reason in baseball why when players and managers/coaches meet on the mound, everyone talks into their gloves.
