Pollard will be very lucky to be 100% at season start. Dak will be airing it out in September and probably into October. As the weather cools, hopefully Pollard will be rolling…if not we’re screwed.

Action means more than words. At RB we have Pollard, Vough, Jones and Davis. We drafted a 5'5 RB and no realistic immediate help at OL. Got a TE that started 4 yrs at Big Ten who can probably block. But the current started offense isn't exactly striking fear into opposing D with our running game.

We are marginally better with addition of Brandon Cooks but if we are expecting Dak to CARRY this OFFENSE..... well, we seen this movie a few times already.

JMHO.

Last season we ran the ball the most we have since the 94 season. We don’t need to run the ball more we need to run the ball better. We need to throw the ball better.

Not meaning this as a hit on Zeke, but it's addition by subtraction. He still had most carries in 2022 (231) and in none Redzone situations he was somewhat of a non-factor due to aging legs (with no ability to change direction). Davis/Dowdle/Jones (plus blocking and Deuce) surely improves our running game.....and most importantly, a OC that doesnt abandon the run at the first opportunity.

after that, you never know who might show up among the rooks.

If Vaughn makes the team, 12-17 RB carries should be his max.
And - will he tasked with a punt-kickoff role?

With a mainstay Cowboys player exiting the premesis...the RB competition should be fierce in training camp and preseason.

People always forget this, we have players on the nroster who will improve from last year...the JG days are gone we have already seen players get better under MM and DQ
