McCarthy shouldn't be the only one packing.

If Jerry was smart this team from the coaches to the players will look much different 3 years from now.

Big and Little aren’t going to fall on the sword. As always there will have to be a fall guy. Fully expect MM to get fired after we go 6-10 or so solely because they refused to take the roster seriously.

Yes, and Dak should go with him if he can't play as well as Brady.

I would like to have a genuine feeling of confidence that effective offensive coaching will be accomplished regardless of the LT situation.

It's just hard for me to do because I still don't believe how much actual involvement McCarthy will take to include himself in the offensive game plan strategies.

I also think Philbin did a very poor job of OL coaching down the stretch last year.

So I am skeptical at best I guess you could say.

I'm about as wait and see what happens as you can be at this point.

Sky is not falling bc Smith is out 6 weeks....come on man we still have a very talented roster, a top 10 defense and the ability to overcome this.

Season isn't lost
He’ll be out until December per Rapaport. Bechton had same injury and was shelved for the year. Avulsion fracture of the knee, Not just a hamstring tear

Either McCarthy will be the fall guy or he now has his excuse. It all depends on just how comfortable the Jones Boyz are with him.

They won't let you buy the groceries, but they want you to cook the meal.

Every head coach should be the GM, IMO.

Yep, them sitting on 20 Million in cap space with little to no depth on the Oline would be a fireable offense on most NFL teams.

Appreciate your optimism. But even in your BEST case scenario, he rushes back in 2 months to get on the field. The likelihood is he'll overcompensate upon his return causing a back injury or something else. Tyron's had an exceptional career. He should hang up the cleats and prepare his HOF speech for induction 5 years from now.

If they spent that $20 million on players just because fans want them too. Then the same fans would be whining why they wasted the cap space for these bums, and could have saved it for 2023.
Then they would say fire them for spending it.

You know how it works on here. :muttley:
