So Tyron makes the 53, then goes on short term IR. Best case maybe misses the 1st month.

Multiple sources on Twitter are now saying he's out until at least December, unfortunately.

"Best case" hasn't really applied to Tyron as he's gotten older, like the rest of us old guys.

Possibly, but it is better to be proactive than reactive.
They have a lot less options now than they had earlier.

Sure, but as I said in another post every move has real world consequences.

If the young guys were all healthy & impressing, they would be in the running for front office of the year for getting starting talent on mid round pick money. It's not always fair to judge a decision simply on how things work out. Unfortunate luck can ruin even the best decision. Fortunate breaks can make a complete blunder look like genius.

Why does anyone think they's spend significant money on an LT? More than likely we bring a bargain budget guy here who has Dak running for his life

When it comes to LT, they have paid. Flozell and Tyron were homegrown and were rewarded. They haven't paid for a FA LT tho, so a budget guy will likely be who they go after for this year and then go high-ish on LT in the draft.
