Sounds pretty bad no matter how you slice it!
I thought a west coast style offense might be better for Dak than what Moore's running.
We need someone and try to salvage Dak before it's to late, if it's not already...

Moore is handicapped by Dak's choking under pressure just like the rest of the team.
Kellen has called and drew up some sensational and intuitive plays, but when Dak overthrows the receivers by 20 yards it's useless.
no no no.
A Smart OC will look at the PLAYERS HE HAS ! And then come up with plays and game plans that suit those players best !
What kellen and others do, is come up with what they think is great playbook, and then force the players they have to execute those plays.
Round pegs in Square holes is what they are doing, and it is just insanely stupid.

Linehan designed a offense specifically for dak in 16, and it worked pretty good, but then they threw that out the window
in 17.

Cowboys had great offense in 2014, but again threw it away to do something else when they let murray go.

Wouldn’t safe be 12 personnel. Using 2 TE for extra protection and extra blockers and run the ball.
They tried that, but it makes coverage easier for the defense with less receiving options.

They were already keeping the RBs in to block instead of running pass routes.

I think they had planned to use Farniok more as a FB/TE but he had to play LG with McGovern only playing 7 snaps.

So they quit running the ball. You see 2 WR going out with 7 defenders. Who is getting open.. Prime running time. A screen. Run off tackle. Or you could run a trick/gadget play that everyone looked confused on.

Daffy Duck could've played quarterback successfully for the Cowboys in 2016. The offensive line was a wall, and defenses keyed on Zeke.
A real quarterback would've won a Superbowl with that team.

Normally you would be right, but you're a fan of a team that is micromanaged into the ground by the GM/Owner/Alcoholic/Narcissistic Lunatic who is still has his sock-to-jock mentality.

McCarthy can do only what said loony allows him to.

True, but McCarthy is accountable for being so desperate he took a job with no control over the offense or the OC, or very much else for that matter. He’s now waiting for Jerry to tell him what position Peters will play on the OL.

Well I was talking about OC's not qb's lol.
Linehan did a good job, using the run, and not trying to pass too much, in fact he tried to pass just enough to make defenses not load the box.

And if we had had a REAL HC, both those teams could have gone to a SB,
dont know if they could have won it, but they could have (and should have) gone to one.

I dont see garrett beating brady and belicheck in a SB with dak or romo

Most don’t get four years as a coordinator. But hey, let’s have a learning year to grow.

Hey come to Dallas and learn on the job while getting paid millions. Pretty good work if ya can get it. Worked for Ginger.

McCarthy made a deal with the devil and destroyed any semblance of a good rep he had as a HC in the NFL. He is done for good after this year.
