The game has passed Mike by. He knows it's now time to hang up the headset and go enjoy life as a retired NFL head coach.

I would be shocked if Mike doesn't announce his retirement after this season.

He had a good run in Green Bay, and that he can be proud of. He was done when the Packers fired him in 2018. He has now accepted that the Packers made the right call.
I just take comfort in knowing that the Cowboys are better than the Packers and they will have a better season. Im sure it helps big Mike sleep better knowing this also

No you see the Packers beat Dallas last year with ARod. So now that they don’t have him they’re even better because Jordan Love is the bestest

Your going to miss him.....

Oh by the way....the Chargers just put up 34pts tonight......
He’s a good play caller. He now also has, IMO, the #2 QB in the league behinds Maholmes.

I think Farniok is looked at as G/C depth Where you have concern is Ball Waletzco are either roster worthy as a back up NFL tackle .
Given Steele coming off injury and I’m sorry Tyron Smith is not 16 game ready . I would have left Tyier Smith as LT . Let the Tyron / Steele combo provide a starter and depth at RT .
So, assuming Martin gets back into camp, who is playing LG in your scenario?

Depth? Be happy if they can get 5 starters on at the same time.

OL is probably the most common challenge across the NFL. They need 160 to start with.

Bass, Bostick and Richards are worth developing. Waltezko is TBD and Ball is the worst lineman in the league. Dude might not start on some SEC teams

Lol. Don’t be bitter. He’s won 24 games the past two seasons. LaFluer can’t get y’all over the hump either. Winning in the NFL is hard.

I don't want or expect J-Love to be Rodgers or Favre. I want and expect him to be J-Love.

This is how we do it in Green Bay. Draft and develop.

Everybody said Aaron wouldn't be Brett. Yup, he wasn't.

Rather than hate on it, why not enjoy the successful process in Green Bay. Be a witness!

J-Love will be a joy for you to watch, except when the Pack plays the Cowboys.
every single team in the NFL drafts and develops…..some just choose better than others so there’s no mystery or exceptionalism about drafting and developing.

Having said that, I wish my Cowboys put more of a premium on quarterback talent here and providing real competition and depth at this position…..our last 25 years of not doing that are obvious

as for the Love-gun being a joy to witness, we’ve seen little evidence that it will come to fruition but we shall see

Plus, as we’ve all seen MMs career went as Rodgers career went in Green Bay, declining …….. the HC will only be as successful as his quarterback takes him…..as with every team.

Now MM hangs his future on one Rayne Dakota Prescotta

After watching our 2nd oline yesterday, I'm worried if we don't get Martin back and if any lineman gets hurt, we're in a world of hurt.

Not every team drafts and develops QBs. Not many are willing/able to draft a first round QB and develop him for 3 years. The Packers did it with both Aaron and J-Love.

Not sure who "we" is, but those in the know have "seen" plenty of J-Love and it is the reason they happily traded Aaron to the Jets.

Just because Cowboys fans have zero clue, doesn't mean no one does.

Have a wonderful day!

very true that some don’t draft and develop 1st round quarterbacks because we don’t do it here. our FO seems to have an affinity for UNFA and 4th round and higher quarterback projects……but it still doesn’t mean that the LoveGlove will be the next franchise Qb

see how I can exchange thoughts with you without any insults……try it sometime and your experience here will be a lot better. We have even Eagles fans here that post with class and respect…..surely you can match the class of an Eagles fan, lol

Where did I insult you? You said you have seen little evidence J-Love will amount to anything. I said that those who get paid to make those evaluations have seen plenty of J-Love in the last 3 years.

Yes, compared to Brian Gutekunst, his staff, Matt LaFleur, his staff, you have no clue on J-Love.

What’s really funny is trying to spin this as a positive. The Packers drafted a scrub to sit on the bench. Instead of someone like Jonathan Taylor, Trevon Diggs, or Jonah Jackson. Any of those guys could have been the difference against TB, but instead they alienated their star, wasted multiple seasons, and are starting over with a guy who had no business being drafted in the first round.
