We are so starved for another playmaker besides Lamb that we all want this to happen. Gallup is terrible now.

So we have a clear need for a big bodied WR type in the EZ...so we go grab a guy who was able to fill this void before he went crazy.....so, our HC says the plan isn't to use him this year? Got it...

Jerry loves "project" players for some reason. By the time they get this guy up to speed, he'll leave to another team as a FA.
"Yes sir, Jerry done found himself a hidden gem and once again GM'd the hell out of it. Boy howdy, 6'4, runs like a gazelle, we got ourselves a hidden Randy Moss!"

Adding a player that can’t help us this season makes no sense.

....MM, just throwing dust on the cover. Not giving out much info.

Passing out flyers to media, for press printing. Wouldn't be surprised he gets few snaps Vs NYG.

Gallup healthy scratch..lol..

It’s a good thing our Head Coach is holding accountability and not our GM on Gallup’s drops. :muttley:

You think MM is making personnel decisions?
The scout group gave the initial validation report and the coaches invited him him to check out. He is practicing at this point. It would indeed be a travesty to annoint him with oil as the next Pro Bowler much less an equal to a #2 or #3 receiver after his time out of the NFL...c'mon. No blame is even close.

There could be no higher point of accountability for team productions. Gallup is still earning his roster spot, at least.

This is Jerry's picture at present:

The Cowboys' record is tied for 3rd best in the NFC. It should improve with the Giant game...6-3

This is the outlook for improving even the current projection:

San Francisco (5-3) vs Jacksonville (6-2)
Lions (6-2) vs SD (4-4)
Seattle (5-3) vs Washington (4-5)

Develop at 32?
We are getting him in football shape -- that likely will take some time because of the limited practice.

31 but very low mileage. Lots of 30+ year old receivers out there contributing

So he takes up a practice Squad spot that was open anyway. So what? If he has anything left he helps, if not he just practices with the team until the season if over, or they need the spopt for someone else - highly unlikely at this point in the season.
