Even Andy Reid couldn't be successful with this year's roster.

MM is a dead man walking so why bother to get rid of him now?

Jerry will make sure MM is here for every loss so he can be the FULL scapegoat

I don't know anything about the injury or the prognosis for it. I only know CD thought he could play. That puts any coach in a tough spot. Mike is doing the same thing Jason Garret did when his back was against the wall. He's going to try to win the game with whoever is available.

The moronic part of keeping MM is that he is clearly a lame duck at this point so his interests no longer align with the franchises. He is going to have no interest in giving playing time to the younger guys who need it to develop. What does he care? He won't care if winning a few game at the end of the year costs us 10 draft spots. He's auditioning for his next job.
I think there is something going on inside the organization that we don't know about.
You don't fire a head coach who has twelve wins per year. Jerry not extending him has more to do with other issues than how well he was doing his job. I never thought McCarthy's job was in jeopardy. I have always felt there was something they weren't telling us.
However, I do think he may have hurt himself with this year's shenanigans; the tablet throwing and now him allowing CeeDee Lamb to get hurt has to be considered.
But I still think Jerry and McCarthy have something other than a championship they are working towards, and they are keeping it quiet. I would love to know what.

Jerry didn't give him an extension bc of the home playoff debacle and nothing thats happened since can make Jerry feel any better about him. Nobody cares about regular season glory. Its about the playoffs and super bowls.

He knew CeeDee Lamb was overdoing it, and a good coach doesn't allow that. In his desperation he ignored CeeDee's needs and let him get hurt.
CeeDee was trying to carry Dak and the offense, and Dak,too, was more than willing to let him do it. If you think Dak is a leader, that shows you that he isn't.
Now, that's up to the Cowboys how they handle it, but a NFL head coach should have known better and should not have let this happen, and a seasoned quarterback shouldn't have put him in that spot.
How many times have we watched CeeDee contort his body to try and catch one of Dak's wild throws? But he did, more often than not.
It is just more evidence of the dysfunction in Dallas.

So Dak throwing to his wr1 now makes him a poor leader? You must be running out of material.

Recycling it also. Dak will be on IR, they will still blame him for the losses.

After Green Bay, he said "I'll be better". Now he's worse. He'll probably get extended.

Mike McCarthy should have the ability to heal injuries with laser beams shooting out of his eyes.

He should be able to turn switches in Jerry's brain on and off using telepathy.

He's the same guy that got them to 12-5 three years in a row. He didn't just suddenly decide to relax this season.

McCarthy lost half his coaching staff in the offseason and half his team 8 weeks into the season.

There was also Jones deciding how the team would be improved and ultimately deciding it wasn't necessary.

Do you believe that Jerry Jones is completely uninvolved with the Cowboys gameplan every week? You don't think that Jerry constantly interjects his own strategy within the gameplan?

You honestly can't imagine Jerry instructing McCarthy on using certain players for certain plays?
This! Hanging with the Boys yesterday talked about Zeke. Why he has been a distraction this year. It's because when he was signed, Jerry told him something different than MM. Jerry clearly thought he would be a featured starter running 20 times a game. MM had other plans. Need evidence of this. Look at the Pittsburgh game. Rico starts and runs for 20 carries averaging 4.3 yards a carry. Looks like he might be turning the corner, right? Zeke complains during the week...next game 2 games combined, Rico only gets 5 TOTAL carries. Who's making that call. Certainly not MM.

Na let him ruin the boys chances at winning another game. They need the better draft picks.

McCarthy was fired last January after the GB loss. Jerry was just too cheap to actually terminate him.

Dak using CeeDee as a security blanket because he can't play the position the way it's supposed to be played makes him a poor leader.

So, Dak throwing to his Elite WR because he trust him makes him a bad leader?

:huh::huh::huh:
