McCarthy: Turnovers are our biggest Hindrance

No. Our biggest hinderance is that we're like the Jets and the Giants, just with a slightly better record. We're sunk to that level.

Was his scheme, playcalling, and play design awful last year too?

And also, was it awful on those two scoring drives that ended in touchdowns to Ceedee?

Serious question
I don't think it's a scheme thing. When the game is all but over, they loosen up. Partly because they have nothing to lose, and partly because the defense plays softer. Which is why I am really surprised we beat the Steelers. Our games never end that way.

He once was a Big Game Player, he's digressing. And it may be because he has only ONE legitimate threat on offense and an offensive line he doesn't trust to block, and he's no longer mobile enough to escape.

Doesn't change the fact that the coach stinks too.

Multiple things can be true at the same time.
No...he was once a Big DIVISION Game player...that is true. But outside the division big games or in the playoffs? TRASH

Haven’t you learned anything? You can’t post the other issues this team has AFTER you’ve agreed with the Dak Sucks crowd. You can only, and I mean ONLY say Dak sucks or they just might come after you and your opinion.
Yup
Identical symptoms to TDS

Yes!

The playcalling and play designs have always been poor, especially in the 1st halves of many games.

And I give little credit to late, desperate TDs in blowout games...when the defense is in full BBDB trying to protect their big lead.

And when the lights shine brightest, big games in December or the playoffs, this offense is never prepared. Hec, now they're barely prepared in September games.
Well at least you admit that there's such a thing as garbage time...that magical time when Dak shines.

Yea he clearly made that up

Dak has never been known as a big game player lol
Dak is stinking it up right now, for sure...but he wouldn't have been 2nd in MVP voting last season if he didn't win some big games. How about this crazy stat?

Dak Prescott led 14 game-winning drives in his first 3 seasons, which is the most by any QB through 3 seasons since at least 1960.

And how about this one?

The percentage of a QB's game-winning drives where he had to put the team ahead multiple times (meaning the defense gave up the lead):
Mahomes 31.8%
Dak 30.4%
Herbert 28.6%
Eli 26.2%
Hurts 25%
Moon 24.3%
Steve Young 23.5%
Rodgers 15.2%
Brady 12.5%
Peyton 10.7%
Montana 9.1%
Elway 4.3%

That's why JJ paid Dak, there was indeed hope based on past performance.

Damn, now ya'll got me defending Dak. LOL

Why is every reference about McCarthy tied to food? Relish, turnovers.....
Waiting for him to say:

"Digg was toast on that play. Texas toast I tell ya."
"Zeke left so much meat on the bone."
"I didn't think we give up a 40 burger"

etc...

Our offense has made a career beating up the doggy NFC East since 2016.
Things change and get used to looking up at Philly and D.C. and the Giants if they ever get a QB.
This offense is the most basic dumbed-down in the entire NFL due to the ineptness of our QB.
Dink and Dunk, which we hope will go for more than 10 yards downfield, is our trademark.
P.S. Fergie is way overrated (too slow and stiff) and CD will at some point blow up on the sidelines against Prescott as let's face it his Jockey is a bum.

Gee, one would never guess Dam is 2-5 in playoffs games.
Also, most of those other QBs have conference wins and Super Bowl bling. Dak can only hope to win another playoff win.

Sounds like hes sending a direct shot at a particular somebody

I would argue having the 32nd rushing attack and 32nd rush defense isn't exactly a winning combination.

To boot, we have ZERO pass rush with Micah out.

Winning the toss and taking the ball, and then coming out with vanilla plays and never scoring an opening drive TD is just silly. Hec, McCarthy had 2 weeks to prepare for San Francisco and the team had opening drive "miscommunications". Come on, man!!!
Just one of my pet peeves. The Cowboys haven't scored on their first drive in 7 games. But for some reason McCarthy always wants the ball first. So automatically we are giving out opponent one extra possession per game. Next thing you know, the 2nd half starts and Cowboys defense is on the field and typically give up points. It's just so frustrating.

He takes the ball because he's trying to get an early lead because Dak gets covered in flop sweat when he has to play from behind.
