Never ending argument. Don’t see why it’s so difficult but ok…..

He isn’t great and isn’t awful. He would have a chance to win in the right environment with the right supporting cast, and that opportunity could have been here at one time…..but it no longer is for several reasons….

When you ask him to win games himself as a pocket passer because of what you’re paying him, you’re going to see what you’re seeing right now. Doesn’t quite work.

Is this not fair regardless of what anyone thinks of him? I mean, if you hate him or love him, be fair….is this not??

After watching the All 22, The biggest hindrance is the antiquated offensive and defensive scheme we run. No run game, no weapon outside of Lamb. We rely on him and 4 to play hero ball too much and when teams take them away, we look to guys like Brooks, tolbert or turpin to show up and most of the time they don't. I won't mention Ferguson because our HC who loves TEs doesn't use him properly.
I agree but how do you feel about the oline? You got any answers for that?

Proof stop it man lol

The offense looks exactly like it did last season vs Buffalo, SF, and GB.

When Dak plays poorly, its scheme, ol, and no run game.

When he plays well, its him overcoming the crappy scheme

So if its the latter, why isnt he doing that now, fresh off a $240m contract extension?
i don't look at things like that or say them. i just think it's hypocritical to say "oh mike was fine when he was playing well last year, now he sucks?" ITS ALL OF THEM

Curious as to why you or anyone else can believe this besides the “such and such won a sb with *insert jag qb*” talking point?

It should be obvious to anybody that Dak gets tight at any sign of adversity in a playoff setting.

Daks is up
Zimmer is next this week, as Mike's rolling out the door.

Oh I agree there, and he has done zero to prove you wrong. I just never thought he was to where it wasn’t possible at all to at least make a deep run with him, if…

He has a high end supporting cast which is now impossible for several reasons. Take his rookie year for example.

Believe me though, I’m not defending the guy by any stretch. It’s no more than an opinion that he may not be so tight in those spots if it weren’t all on him. There’s no way he could ever handle what some QBs can…take his legs away and it’s all over…but Jerry expects it due to the pay check, and isnt capable of building around him as needed. Recipe for no success.

We aren’t on different pages, I just tend to focus on the larger problems surrounding this team and organization.

Not the fact that your line stinks, you can’t run the football and your defense would be lucky to stop a high school team. Turnovers is what you’re going with?

* Cowboys coach Mike “ meat head” McCarthy said “ Jerry Jones and a QB that takes up most of the cap space and doesn’t preform are our biggest hindrance. It holds back a lot of productivity.”
*I fixed it

He's right, the turnovers have been costly. Dak has to own those.

And also true is how bad McCarthy's playcalling, play designs, and decisions have been. Winning the toss and taking the ball, and then coming out with vanilla plays and never scoring an opening drive TD is just silly. Hec, McCarthy had 2 weeks to prepare for San Francisco and the team had opening drive "miscommunications". Come on, man!!!

Dead. Coach. Walking. McCarthy's three 12-win seasons bought him a 1-year extension  ...and this is likely going to be the last coaching job he ever has.

Yes, the QB is playing awful, but the coach is winning us any games either. When was the last time an offensive play was run and you acknowledged, "Now THAT was a great play call"? When was the last time McCarthy designed a play that confused the defense and got a player wide-open downfield?
How many times does it need to be said , Mike can only call what Dak is capable of doing . Dak has zero to little zip . Thus Curls, dump offs, end rounds, Slants . yada .

Dak the goggles off !!
