If Mike walked away because of Jerry than I give him credit. He probably knew he couldn't get the team to where he wanted it to be because of the stupid owner meddling around and not valuing what he's done.

Frankly, if Mike had a GM that was really "all-in" than I'm sure he would have stuck around. But of course Jerry talks from both sides of his mouth and Mike has had enough of it.

there was never going to be a New Contract.

Big Mike was a disaster.

he was lucky he wasn’t fired during the bye week.

most of us thought he should have been fired after the playoff loss to GB.

I don’t buy it. I don’t think Jerry really was concerned, as everything he did prior indicated that he was expecting it. Everybody was on one year contracts last year.

Mike hired a new agent, who represented Brady and Payton. MM also wanted money and long term guarantee for MM. And MM did nothing to show he should get that.

Yep, people are exaggerating him getting interviews. He is, but he’s getting interviews for teams that are interviewing multiple candidates. The Bears have interviewed like 6 or 7 people already.

Jane Slater of NFL Network reported earlier this week that Jones wanted to keep McCarthy and add former Cowboys tight end Jason Witten to McCarthy’s staff as a coach-in-waiting. It does not sound like the Cowboys ever came close to executing that plan, though Witten might now be a head coach candidate for the team.

There is enough talent on this team, if Jerry chooses to free up Cap Space and add some desperately missing pieces.

Obviously there is not enough talent on this team. We were 3-4 with everyone healthy. I think the offseason pissed Mike off and he couldn't wait to tell Jerry to shove it. He wasted no time leaving as soon as he was able to.

Can you imagine being 12-5 three years in a row and your GM/Owner does basically nothing to help improve the team.

What other organization other than the Cowboys would do that?
