How the hell did Tyron get hurt on Saturday is my question?! In the hotel or what?…
better question is why did they dress him and then not play him ??.......at all ! not one play! kinda bizarre.

That is a HUGE issue. His playcalling didn't help the Cowboys at all yesterday. Especially in the red zone.
welcome to big mike and his play calling.
now you can see why rodgers used to get mad at him.

But according to jerry we are supposed to be thanking him for doing such a great job !!!

Something is fishy. I think last minute Jerry told McCarthy to rest the vets on the OL. It threw a wrench in the gameplan and offense. They would have played if it was a “ big game”.

You give Mac credit for more awareness and insight than any coach in history.

There's 5 minutes left and you need 2 scores.

Nobody calls for 4 consecutive gut runs. Nobody. He needed a chunk play or two, and he got 4, 4, and 3, and 4, and 2.

For these efforts: he was rewarded an EZ pick on 4th to seal the game entirely. And no the QB was not pressured on this throw because of the OL.
Gee. If you know you can't trust your OL, you are going to go run and hope for the best. Run blocking is so much easier.

He knew Dak would not get great protection (or would expect poor protection) and would have to rush a pass because of the crap line calls all night.

He's calling plays based on the personnel mess we had.

Because you have to dress a certain number and he was the one reported most of the week as likely to play. Plain and simple, you have to dress that guy. We had already elevated two OL. We had no one else on the OL who could dress.

If you don't think Tyron would have been out there if he could go, you haven't been paying attention.

Or, more reasonably, we could conclude that they were actually injured. I can't imagine that you think that someone like Martin or Smith didn't want to be out there. This isn't basket ball. Players can rest a day or two during the week. You don't rest players in games unless you have everything clinched.

Most pessimists I know have really good arguments for their point of view. You are unique in that you do not. Keep flying your freak flag

Its fishy Tyron was named team captain for the game and dressed. That never happens if he wasn’t fully expected to play. Go and watch McCarthys press conference today…he is pissed at Jerry without saying it. I’m telling you Tyron is Jerry’s golden boy. He wants him healthy for the rest of the season. McCarthy is so over him and has been. I’m telling you management thought they could get away with one. Go actually watch the press conference.

Little Jerry is saying there is a good chance all 3 offensive linemen will play this week. I wonder if he told MM?

But yes, waiting until Sunday to decide who is playing 3 positions on the OL is probably a bad idea. Whatever happened to, if you don't practice you don't play?

No. It is not. We had 52 guys who could play. The one designated as most likely has to dress. You can't dress 52. Tyron wasn't healthy but dressed as the emergency OL player.

That's sort of what a captain does. Pay attention. You'll stop embarrassing yourself.
