Twitter: McCarthy: We're going to run the ball

If the Cowboys fall behind by 14+ points (or Pollard gets injured) by Halftime, I guarantee McCarthy will be saying, "We're going to pass the ball!"
Maybe it's just me but why did we invest 20% of our cap if passing worries you???
Does Yee have little faith in QB1?:confused:

And Dak is going to be sacked 5 times
By a defense that has 12 on the year? If they were to get 5 sacks, that would likely mean that our O-line had an atrocious day. They're not great in pass pro, but they're not that bad, either.

I'm not worried at all. It's you Dak critics who are worried!!! I'm all for Dak lighting it up, especially now that Zeke is injured and will not be suiting up.

Not if he just hands the ball off. Now if they try keeping pollard in to block...they'll be holding Dak's and Rush's funeral services that day.

But on just 105 snaps though. I hope he can get better in that area, if so he can easily be a primary back. Every touch he gets feels like it could be a home run.

105 total snaps? He has had more then that this year alone.

They ran the ball all season long and for the most part it has worked. So nothing new here. Keep doing it and we're going to be a 6-2 team, no problem. After that it gets interesting and we'll need the Dak from games 1 to 7 last year.

Let's hope the defense is having another field/s day this weekend.

You missed the point

Bro they can't run the ball EVERY DOWN

did you not read the tweet AC?:D
Mike says they are going to run the ball!
Brother, it's going to be interesting. The key will be our Oline. If they can win their individual batters and create some lanes for our RBs to run through, that would bode well to keep this offense balanced, eat up some clock, keep our defense fresh/rested and hopefully lead to a win.

Maybe so, but I fail to see what point I missed. If you're saying that because Zeke is out and Pollard is responsible for his portion of protecting Dak in the passing game, I'm simply saying that Chicago has 12 sacks total on the season (tied for 22nd in the league) while the Cowboys, as a team, have given up 11 (tied for 5th fewest in the league). Chicago is bad at sacking the QB, while Dallas is very good at protecting. I fail to see how they get 5 in this game just because Zeke's out. I totally agree that Pollard ain't Zeke when it comes to pass pro. But having said that, I say Chicago gets one or two sacks, but not 5.
