I hate to say it...

McCarthy's offense looks like the NFL has passed him by.

Elliot may be the best RB on the roster. What a failure that is.

We don't have a true #2 WR, and offensive scheme isn't helping one to emerge.

We really don't seem to have much of a "running scheme".

We have to use WR's to attack the edges in the running game, our RB's aren't capable of doing it.

Cooks and Turpin lack vision as runners.

From what I could see on gameday film, our LB play was lousy, filling the wrong lanes, jumping in the wrong gaps, lack of awareness in their zone drops.

Despite the supposed pressures, I didn't think our pass rush was all that great last week against backup OT's. It didn't look any better this week. But, we couldn't stop the run either. And, it wasn't close.

Our O-Line needs to improve. There are signs of disaster lurking.

We look good enough to go on a big winning streak during a softer part of our schedule. But, I don't think these things go away. If anything, they get harder to cover up.
Great, realistic and although painful...
Very truthful post.
Totally agree.

So when a Dak Defender who has also never seen the Playbook criticizes our play calling and scheme as being weak and unimaginative, do you respond to them in similarly strong fashion? Asking for a friend...
I don’t live on this board trolling posts. I saw this one in particular and responded. Like I stated I’m not here to defend Dak or bash him either. I root for him to do well because he is the current QB whether any of us like it or not. Me pissing and moaning about him it isn’t gonna change this simple fact.

Had you responded this way instead of describing the person you were originally responding to as "dumb", your argument might be more believable

One could say the same thing about any of the following, all of which are topics of complaining on a daily basis:

**Jerry as GM
**Jerry as owner
**Our RB stable
**The o line
**The WRs
**Pretty much anyone on the defense, including Parsons
**The coaching staff and their schemes (offense and defense)

In short, there's daily belly aching about pretty much everyone associated with this franchise not named Aubrey

Why does the criticism regarding Dak irritate you more than the others?

The question I asked the other poster in that discussion was obvious. When someone uses the play calling as a critique of Daks abilities he dismiss them as talking out of their backside because they've "never seen the playbook"

But when someone else who's never seen the playbook (you) uses it to criticize the coaches and provide cover for Dak, he's on board.

Same critique, applied differently. He's dismissive of one, and totally ok with the other.

And I'm the one with the agenda. Got it.

Your post just was the first example in that thread that I used to show his hypocrisy
After 60 years of football, I don’t need to see a playbook. To know the playbook sucks. you can’t run the football, then you can’t pass the football and vice versa. We are one dimensional offense, and that’s GM‘s fault. I know Prescott in abilities as well as his abilities. But you have an agenda and there’s no doubt about it, you’re not fooling anybody anybody

How do you expect to score in the red zone, if you don’t even have a hint of a run threat. I don’t think I’m the one that doesn’t know the game. See I don’t have an agenda. So I don’t sound stupid football ignorant. But when you have an agenda. And you just wanna blame one person, everything you say is ridiculous for that reason.

Yeah, your agenda isn't protecting Dak at any and all costs. That much is clear. Lol

If anyone else makes a comment about the playback without the benefit of seeing it, they're a moron with an agenda.

When you do it, it's OK due to "60 years" of watching football

Classic.

Simple because you didn’t mention anybody else but him. LMAO.

I’m glad you understand now. Are you mountaineers Cousin? You wouldn’t understand a playbook if you saw it.

Cowboys fans’ biggest fear is not that the team’s high paid quarterback is a problem. It’s what if he isn’t.
Finally, somebody who has a brain, that’s the issue what do we do if he’s really not the problem

I think most of us saw trouble brewing after we lost to Green Bay and Jerry went nuts. He chose to throw a fit in the offseason. Then came the onset of a managerial strike by a GM determined to spite his team, like a brat who didn't get his way. There's just no cure for that level of craziness.

Dak does not play defense. How many teams won giving up 44 points over the last decade?
He got the ball every time the other team scored, plus one kick off to start a half.
He had plenty of chances to score and keep the other team off the field.
