I don't think switching from Moore to Schottenheimer was a positive overall.

Team still beats the bad teams. Offense goes AWOL vs teams that punch them in the mouth.
Kind of feels like a lateral move if anything. I sure miss 2014, 2016 when we were cramming the ball down everyone's throat.

Had you responded this way instead of describing the person you were originally responding to as "dumb", your argument might be more believable

One could say the same thing about any of the following, all of which are topics of complaining on a daily basis:

**Jerry as GM
**Jerry as owner
**Our RB stable
**The o line
**The WRs
**Pretty much anyone on the defense, including Parsons
**The coaching staff and their schemes (offense and defense)

In short, there's daily belly aching about pretty much everyone associated with this franchise not named Aubrey

Why does the criticism regarding Dak irritate you more than the others?
Go back and reread my post. Not once did I call the poster dumb, I said the post was dumb. And trust me, people criticizing Dak is the least of my concerns let alone irritating.

Mike would love to call a different game. He can’t. Dak can only handle
The short throws. Thus his
High percentage. Dinks , dunks , curls , slants , RB dumps , Screens yada.

That’s why we always lose once the D gives up an opening score or we fall
Behind.

Dak isn’t a QB who can make the downfield throws or hit the deep post when it counts. Once Dak is behind it’s clear as day the Doe Eyes. They even show them on TV for that reason.

Next four years are a Lost cause.

U don’t get “great”. It doesn’t just “ come “

You either have it or you don’t.

Dak clearly doesn’t
We just going to pretend he wasn't the TD leader last year on the number 1 scoring offense last year?

STHU. Patrick Mahomes was dinking-n-dunking all game long to a total of only 151 passing yards, 2 TDs, 2 INTs and a passer rating of 80.6 against a Bengals defense that is not as good as the Saints defense. I don't hear anyone criticizing Mahomes for his poor performance which his team carried him for a win. That's because Mahomes has more and better weapons at WR, TE and RB.

What weapons does Dak have? Only CeeDee. Our RBs aren't good enough, our Oline stunk and couldn't get any push or open any holes or pass protect. Our stud TE didn't play due to injury. His backup was average at best. CeeDee is our only weapon at WR.

Not even Patrick Mahomes would have succeeded playing with this Cowboys offense today. Dak is not the problem. Get over the blind hatred already.
This assumes Dak has won something and actually had to win with less of a roster which machines did last year. Mahoney elevates his wide receivers and this isn’t his norm. Dak sucks with all the weapons he could want..tempo number 1s Amari and ceedee what did he do with it..folded. Dak has played his career up to this season with a great online, tight ends, wrs, rbs. This year he needs to win with what machines had last year and he hasn’t won with a stacked roster so why would you think he can win with subpar roster? Why would you even compare the loser to mahomes?

Get over your Dak hatred already. Dak wasn't the reason we lost yesterday. If it hadn't been for the 1st interception happening due to Jalen Brooks falling down (that drive would have stayed alive and most likely scored more points), Dak's passer rating would have ended around a 90 with over 300 yards passing and possibly another TD. The problem was once again a lack of a running game, our receivers failing to get open, our Oline struggling to open running lanes or sustain their pass blocks and a putrid defense that couldn't stop anything (6 Saints drives in a row that all ended up in TDs and didn't force the Saints to punt until the 4th quarter).

It gets tiring having to repeatedly explain the obvious to posters like yourself who insist on being stubborn and place blame only on the QB just because he is Dak Prescott.
Seriously dak passing for 300? 65 yards were on one short pass. It’s amazing that you think he threw in the air anything over 10 yards, can’t wait until they calculate yards in air and you’ll see how miserable that 300 was. He sucked and defense did as well. Difference is we don’t pay defense, we pay for an elite offense(dak being the guy that takes the most).

Cowboys fans’ biggest fear is not that the team’s high paid quarterback is a problem. It’s what if he isn’t.

Everyone sees that he is not the only problem with the team. Not even the biggest, since there is still Jerry to focus on. The team could literally lose the rest of the games this season with terrible offensive production (no injuries) and the DFL would still applaud the contract extension.

No, the Cowboys failed, I won. You didn’t do either you just *****. Without a resolution, you haven’t mentioned one thing about football other than I hate Prescott classic.

Doesn't understand the grammatical distinction between "fail" and "flail". Yet proclaims victory in debate.

Can't make this stuff up.

I'm confused.... because you're claiming Dak is a dink and dunk quarterback.... but he ranks like somewhere between 5th and 7th overall amongst active passers of passes over 20 yards. That's interesting.

I stand to be corrected if I'm wrong, but how can a dink and dunk quarterback be high on the downfield pass of 20 yards plus list if he's a dink and dunker?

Dowdle and Vaughn have been disappointing. What order would you put them in? How much better is the one from the three?

Cooks used to be... Tolbert hopes he can be.
Dowdle is by default. Vaughn is still extremely mismanaged. Cooks is still a WR2 and Tolbert will be next year.

I hate to say it...

McCarthy's offense looks like the NFL has passed him by.

Elliot may be the best RB on the roster. What a failure that is.

We don't have a true #2 WR, and offensive scheme isn't helping one to emerge.

We really don't seem to have much of a "running scheme".

We have to use WR's to attack the edges in the running game, our RB's aren't capable of doing it.

Cooks and Turpin lack vision as runners.

From what I could see on gameday film, our LB play was lousy, filling the wrong lanes, jumping in the wrong gaps, lack of awareness in their zone drops.

Despite the supposed pressures, I didn't think our pass rush was all that great last week against backup OT's. It didn't look any better this week. But, we couldn't stop the run either. And, it wasn't close.

Our O-Line needs to improve. There are signs of disaster lurking.

We look good enough to go on a big winning streak during a softer part of our schedule. But, I don't think these things go away. If anything, they get harder to cover up.
Because it has passed him by. He only won 1 title with Rodgers to begin with.

Not all game long ... Mahomes actually connected on a deep go fly bomb to Rasheed Rice for a TD pass...

This MCCarthy Tex Coast offense is schemed and structured for dink -dunk game, and Lamb excels in underneath game.

How often do we see Dak deep bombing it to Lamb ? ...

CeeDee is a 4.5 40 speed receiver. He lacks deep speed. That answers your question.

Some of us knew this before January 7th, 2020.

My sometimes disturbed friend Aaron Rodgers and I were at the very front of the line.
