I would think Joe Whitt Jr. might be that guy. Quinn brought him over with him from Atlanta and he also was groomed by Dom Capers in Green Bay. Although the Falcons' defense was bad last year, he has coached some pretty good secondaries.

Of course, that's if Quinn succeeds here, which is a big if based on our defenses not being very good in more than 10 years.

It has been a while since Quinn has succeeded as a defensive coach IIRC.

Despite laying an egg in the Super Bowl, his defense the first few years there was pretty good. The last three years, for various reasons, the defense was not good. I don't know if he can get back to where he was with Seattle and early-on Atlanta, but since he's returning to being just a defensive coordinator, that's the hope.
