McCray or Silva?

Silva stood out when he climbed up the back of a Tampa receiver. He's also a 15 yard penalty waiting to happen.

He was in great position to make a play. He just overplayed it.

I take it as a young players youthful mistake.

McCray wins by having one less pass interference call against him.:D

This.

The ball was thrown behind Clark and Silva ended up running him over because Clark slowed down.

I'd like to see the play again, because it looked like Silva was watching the ball.

Didn't think it was an awful play initially, but I had friends over and was playing 'host'.

Silva. Anderson Silva will knock McCray out within 1 minute.

Silva. He is always looking for the big hit or INT. McCray lacks ball awareness. I would be shocked it he ever makes a pick.

At this time McCray, he has more experiance and better understanding of the defense. I do like what I saw in Silva, the guy hustles and is always around the football.

I like Silva. I think he can be a play-maker with more experience. The talent is definitely there.

I like both guys, but I think Silva's shown enough that he could be a candidate as an eventual starter in the league. He also plays with some attitude. I'd like to see them both get some seasoning, which is what I'm sure will happen.

Me, too. Re: Johnson.

Re: McCray v. Silva, another factor worth noting is that they may want McCray to have as many snaps on coverage teams this week, which will probably put Silva on the field more on regular defense.

Hmmm...i like the positive reports about Silva....

I seen a little of him in preseason, and he did look pretty good.

Exactly. He was there, just a little too aggressive. But I'm liking what I see.

Neither player has shown enough for me to offer an opinion.

Both players are physical but I question their football instincts and mental awareness on pass plays. I hope one or both can develop but I'm not holding my breath.

i just do not know enough about either. can someone list each's strengths and weaknesses? because some people say silva looks lost and others say hes always around the ball ?
