Dude, read the thread. Nobody ever said trade Hamlin for MM, It was more like signing MM to team with Hamlin in our secondary...

Well, I don't know about all of that legend stuff but I do know WP spoke highly of him and he knows WP defense very well.....

I don't know why people are jumping you so much. You're right, McCree was that same "Qb of the secondary" in SD for Wade. In fact, you could almost say McCree was sort of the inspriration for our signing Hamlin.

If we didn't have Hamlin, I'm sure he'd be here ASAP.

Still cool that someone wants to play for Wade that much, if you ask me.

I would love to sign McCree to replace Keith "Killer" Davis and add depth to our secondary, particularly at Safety. The fact that he knows Phillips' defense and Wade likes him is a bonus. At 30 I don't expect him to unseat either of our starting Safetys but It would be nice to have a veteran backup.

Thats all he would be...the idea of him coming in and starting over Roy is ridiculous imo.

Oh it's ok, I'm just sharing the info. Folks can agree or disagree, its cool with me. I'd still rather have Hamlin and MM in our secondary instead of Roy and Hamlin. Just one mans opinion...

Low risk signing who could be a suitable replacement for Davis and knows Phillips' defense, but will he expect to be a starter? If he can come in and flat out replace Roy I'm all for it. If this is just another fan plan to get rid of Roy then I would wonder when people are going to realize that the team has no plans to do that.

I wouldn't mind bringing him in for the right price. If he has coverage skills maybe he could think he can win the job outright. I would hope he is confident.
