I'd rather see us draft another Safety rather than go out and sign this guy. I've got nothing against him but hes 30 years old and at the very best we'd only get a couple of seasons out of him should he somehow beat out Roy for the starting spot.

Drafting a guy like Marcus Griffin in the middle rounds would make more sense to me, he's got the smarts like his brother who has already made a name for himself in Tennessee.

The Panthers made a huge mistake a couple years ago not re signing this guy. He is a hitter.

He most definitely sucked when he was with the Texans. I saw him play two seasons here. To say he was inadequate is putting it mildly.

Dude, read the thread. Nobody ever said trade Hamlin for MM, It was more like signing MM to team with Hamlin in our secondary...

And I'm going by the idea that since Roy is at SS and we're not going to eat 6.66 million to get him (and the fact that numerous people mentioned it was a shame that they tagged Hamlin instead of waiting) that it would have to be MM for Hamlin cause there is ZERO possibility of it being MM teamed with anyone but Roy.

And, on top of that, I'd rather give Watkins the chance at FS then sign MM.
