I would like to see more Smith. He has a little more zig and zag in his style running where Alfred Morris is more straightaway runner.
McFadden I think is a little unique as he is average in both speed and jukr ability. I think his strength is finding a hole and using his strength to get through it.

Not sure I agree totally on that one. McFadden has or had elite straight line speed (4.3 40yd). Whether he still has that straight line speed or whether he trusts it is totally different. I recall 2 years ago he broke the line of scrimmage on more then one occasion and then seemed to not be able to hit the 4th gear he used to have. Far as juke ability I absolutely agree. He doesn't have many moves or possess the ability to make folks miss. Probably never did. He was a big back with lots of speed but with not much lower body strength. Has always had bird legs and bird legs don't generate much lower body strength. I think conversely Zeke does everything better then McFadden. Also a lot less wear on a 2 year old car frame then a 8 year old car frame.

McFadden is one of those typical Dallas backs over the years (Not named Zeke or Emmitt), that is one guy away from housing it, only to trip over his feet or get tackled by a diving safety who arm tackles him

He's in denial. He was beaten out by Al and Al is better at zone but is JAG.

He wasn't beaten out by Al, the coaches with their vast knowledge handed it to him. And we know how great they are with their vast knowledge. They try to show it by trying to out smart everyone each week.

Well if they truly are, then they better show it now without Zeke.

As most backs do. How many RB's do you see on a regular basis not make that long break away TD run.
Morris, he had a wide open run to the ned zone on that 70 harder And it was not tackled because the defense had the right angle. He slowed down on top of him just being slow.
Zeke would have got the TD. McFadden as well as rod smith would have too. And most RB's would, should have hit that hole to break away.

I just hope that when he does get his opportunities he doesn't press too much and start fumbling.

McFadden has elite straight speed. His anticipation and quickness are not elite.

Here's hoping the staff has a good handle on how and when to insert each of our RBs to glean the most production possible. Each has their strong and weaker aspects to their game. It's not too difficult to picture each of them getting to share the load. Each will contribute.

Personally, I think Smith is getting ready to develop and eventually assume a more active role than the others, although I'm sure they'll all be monitored closely to see which of them is likely to produce most effectively in the early going. It'll be intriguing to see.

I'm guessing that early-on, DMC is going to be favored on passing downs for his blocking ability to keep Dak healthy. He's also a good bet to be useful as a receiver. Maybe Rod Smith develops a knack for doing those same things with additional experience.
