Perhaps your understanding of a thug differs from mine.

He was handcuffed "for a few minutes", after a fight, where his brother got a bloody nose.

Wasn't arrested.
Wasn't charged.
Wasn't named as an attacker.
Wasn't hurt.
Didn't resist being handcuffed.
Wasn't armed.
Probably wasn't even drunk, since he's underage and could have been arrested for that.

I'm failing to see how he was acting like a thug. Or is everyone that has ever been in a fight when they were young a thug?

If you don't like the kid for whatever weaknesses you see on the football field, say that, don't just label him because you don't like the way he runs or carries a piece of leather.

:hammer:

Let everyone call and raise, I'm out.

Buh bye, and good riddance.

I've never frequented the many bars and clubs, but we've got some mean BBQ and catfish joints. Of course, you can only go in them if you bring your cousin and if you're married to him/her. :D

For those posters other than baja1 that may reside in the grand state of Arkansas, please accept my humblest apologies. I did not in way way intended to insult those of you whom frequent the state's many piano bars and clubs, and in no way was serious when I suggested that your states' great many communities could not, or would not, support such enterprises. The next time I venture to your area, I would like to buy you all a snifter of Grand Marnier to make amends.

Yours truly,

Thompson

You must be out of your mind. How is he acting like a thug or pre-madonna by going out to a jazz club with his friends and getting upset seeing blood on his brother's face?

Some people are so dense.

Count, never take it seriously when somebody who doesn't even grasp the concept of a "prima donna" calls somebody else a "premadonna"...

I guess all of us born before Madonna could fairly be called "pre-madonnas"... LOL...

For those of you who want to use the term but don't quite know what it means, "prima donna" is the Italian term for the female lead singer in an opera, the "first lady", or the STAR... over time, a number of these stars earned a rep for being difficult and demanding, so over time prima donna came to mean any woman who is acting like a big shot...

He was the only one handcuffed last night. I'm not giving his family $30M and throwing 2 to 3 #1's away in the process.

Yeah, let's take him off the draft board altogether, when he wasn't even ARRESTED...

Can you say "agenda", Nors??

If anybody can, YOU ought to be able to... how's that man crush on Ricky Santos working out for you?? Has he taken out a restraining order on you yet??

Let everyone call and raise, I'm out.

Gawd, I wish I was sitting across a poker table from you... I'd never have to worry about money again... :D

Poor ol Darren has bad luck hanging out at Bars getting into fist fights at bars multiple times and riding around in mommy's $100K escalade. Dude just has bad luck - lol

Let another team give The McFaddens $30M.

You know you'd be a total disaster as a general manager, don't you, Nors??

"OK, we're up for our first round pick; who's still on the board from New Hampshire or Massachussetts??"

Little Rock has piano bars? Clubs?

...I'm sooo not buying that.

I don't know if they have pianos, but I think they have both bars and clubs. They come in handy when you have to fight your cousin over your sister.

TB, this part got left out ......

There was no word yet whether or not Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and girlfriend Jessica Simpson were at the bar during the disturbance.

pretty sure Tony and Jess where see checking out tickets on the space shuttle for after the Giants game. Dallas media to devote the whole paper and tv news time to telling how Tony is not focused:cool:

gimme a break, McFadden's one of the hardest working and most well liked guys on his team. I guess it's more fun to have an uninformed opinion that stands out than it is to know what you're talking about.

Interesting...Mike Vick was one of the hardest working, well liked guys in the Falcons dressing room.

Just like the incident in a bar fight last year that badly hurt his toe. And then this, and that his mommy has a $100K Escalade she loaned to Darren recently.

Then, I'm all in.....

And Tony Romo is one of the hardest working, well liked guys in the Cowboys dressing room. What's your point?

After Adrian Peterson's performance this year, do you think anybody in their right mind isn't going to draft this potential superstar RB in the top 3 picks? Simply because somebody messed with his younger brother.

If McFadden didn't do anything, than that would mean he is a pansy...

other than he is more of a running QB then a troy aikman QB ( see vince young too) desn;t mean he isn't a fraichise QB that puts feet in the seats and sells jerseys for falcons

You would trade multiple 1's to get McFADDEN in a deep RB draft- lol. Yes, lets forget all these off field issues, but he is an Arkie.

Give him and his mommy $30M cash - more lol

I think you would make a great GM for Snyder in Washington!
