Perhaps your understanding of a thug differs from mine.

He was handcuffed "for a few minutes", after a fight, where his brother got a bloody nose.

Wasn't arrested.
Wasn't charged.
Wasn't named as an attacker.
Wasn't hurt.
Didn't resist being handcuffed.
Wasn't armed.
Probably wasn't even drunk, since he's underage and could have been arrested for that.

I'm failing to see how he was acting like a thug. Or is everyone that has ever been in a fight when they were young a thug?

If you don't like the kid for whatever weaknesses you see on the football field, say that, don't just label him because you don't like the way he runs or carries a piece of leather.

I've never frequented the many bars and clubs, but we've got some mean BBQ and catfish joints. Of course, you can only go in them if you bring your cousin and if you're married to him/her.

For those posters other than baja1 that may reside in the grand state of Arkansas, please accept my humblest apologies. I did not in way way intended to insult those of you whom frequent the state's many piano bars and clubs, and in no way was serious when I suggested that your states' great many communities could not, or would not, support such enterprises. The next time I venture to your area, I would like to buy you all a snifter of Grand Marnier to make amends.

For those of you who want to use the term but don't quite know what it means, "prima donna" is the Italian term for the female lead singer in an opera, the "first lady", or the STAR... over time, a number of these stars earned a rep for being difficult and demanding, so over time prima donna came to mean any woman who is acting like a big shot...
