Sorry if this has already been posted. Figured this was worth discussing. If he doesn't get it back, what does that mean for catching the ball and also pass protection? And why is he still on our roster?

If that's the same article referenced earlier, he said in the article that it doesn't affect him football-wise. He also showed reporters his range of motion. Because nobody said that it was dramatically reduced I'm guessing he's unable to straighten it completely, but he comes really close. Otherwise it would limit him in a way that he's indicating is not the case.

Well from what I'm reading he won't be able to straighten it completely. What does that do for pass protection when a lb is blitzing? Personally we have enough injury problems on this team. And for the cap hit and the money and our stable of RBs this guy shouldn't be eating a roster spot that we could use on a DE

This is a duplicate thread, but it's really not a big deal. Won't affect his ability to play at all.

Makes me wonder about the supposed trade offers. If they were actually even there why not ship him off for the biggest bag of peanuts.

If DMC's elbow doesn't respond to rest and rehab, it could easily become a career-threatening injury.

Not having the ability to straighten out his arm is a disability that is restrictive enough to be a problem.

It has the propensity to compromise his ability to block, catch and straight-arm. It's no insignificant issue.

Unless it goes 99% of the way there and won't quite straighten. We have no idea how restricted the motion is, but he said it won't affect him football-wise. And he referred to it as a 'little glitch' so it's hard to imagine that it's debilitating.
