Connor McGovern is a UFA after this season.

Steele is a RFA after this season, UFA after next season.

Biadasz is a FA after next season.

What would your approach be to signing these three players? I think all three have stepped up their games this year. McGovern is probably the odd man out, but Biadasz has played well enough to at least warrant a discussion about resigning him this offseason before he hits free agency. Same w/ Steele obviously.

Steele is a RFA at the end of this year, UFA at the end of next year.

He'll be tendered at the very least this offseason, IMO either a 2nd or 1st round tag. I think it would be wise to lock him up to a 3-4 year deal this offseason.

I think they let McGovern explore free agency. Biadasz I could see re-signing, but only if it's a fair rate.

Dang, you're right. Should have done Steele earlier.

...not to expensive for keeping. If they think they are ALL-Pro's, then that's on them.

Priorities for me would be:
  1. Steele
  2. Biadasz (cheap)
  3. McGovern (also cheap)
I think we found a good one in Steele and he’d be the one I’d pay significant money for.

What sucks about Steele is we will miss him all next season most likely.

I wouldn't think any of them would be too expensive to keep. Steele's payday is probably hurt by the injury that cost him so many games this year.

Biadasz and Steele are the priorities in my mind. Biadasz because we really don't have another option at center on the roster. Steele because a quality OT is harder to find than an OG, and Tyron Smith is always iffy to go all or most of the season.

Steele is worth keeping, but not a top salary

It was a clean tear that he's supposed to be ready for the start of next season for. At least that's what was reported by one of the national guys. I think Rappaport.

No Steele? Martin said he's the best run blocker he's played next to. Also, all we hear about him is that he's a nonstop worker. Plays through the whistle every play. I think he definitely warrants getting locked up now before we have to bid with other teams.

That says a lot because that 2016 unit was the best we had since the Big E days.

I'd like to see Steele keep up the good work for another season before I'm convinced.

Replacing McGovern is the quickest way to improve the OL. He can’t anchor on power rushers and isn’t great pulling.

Steele is a must sign, imo. He should be relatively cheap for his skill level and knows the scheme. However, you HAVE to bring in a real swing tackle in case he’s not ready to go or suffers lingering issues.
