Just watched this Dallas pick is about five minutes in and it's McKinney.

Some late chat made McKinney the pick. I almost certain COWBOYS HATERS made that pick. Also notice Pat's get Espenasa that was PATS HATERS

McKinney is a good player and I like him quite a bit. Problem is we have more pressing needs than safety. And picking on in the first round makes it harder for us to get good players at DE, CB, C, and WR

I disagree. I think CB, S, and WR are our biggest needs. I wouldn’t take a DE before round 3, circumstances permitting.

That deep pass where he grabbed his towel wouldve been a td if henderson didnt grab him. But Chase a monster. He killed everybody

I wasn't counting the play he got picked by his teammate, but if you include that, he gave up 3 catches against him.

He did have the 10 yard touchdown as well.

I thought he looked good that game. Better than the 2 TD's on the stat line anyway.

Our biggest needs are in the secondary. Would you take McKinney and Fulton both in the 1st if we only had to give up our 2nd?

Trade down with MIN to #25 (get #89 and #105). Select McKinney with #25.

Trade #51, #89, and #105 to SF for #31. Draft Fulton with #31.

Basically upgrading our 2nd round pick for a late first to get 2 potential high quality starters in the secondary.

I'd rather move up in round two for a jaylon johnson type and only give up one third round pick with 51

I like Jaylon Johnson who I've seen go around pick 40 to 45 but we could trade up and select him. If I knew we could get Jaylon Johnson in the second round than
I really like McKinney in the first round. Those would be two excellent additions to our secondary.

Everything is great about McKinney. So how did he run a 4.63 at the combine? Was he injured or sick? That is not a centerfielder's speed. He will never catch a WR running free, from behind. Darren Woodson's slowest 40 speed was 4.44 and he also ran some below 4.4.

I would rely more on his full body of work than a 40 time on one occasion.

At the position, high level instincts are most important, even over timed speed. Bryon Jones was super fast, but he was never around the football as a safety, due to lacking any kind of instincts.
