Well, I don't know if they are serious or not but if they did intend to consider trade offers, Chicago would be idiots not to try and aquire him IMO.
Word up. He would fit perfect there. Not sure how they would react with a winner at the helm.

As would Minnesota and a few other teams.

Well-It was REID who started all this broo-ha-ha by trading out of the 1st round last year to get some unknown from southern TX.

Especially with all the saga we're currently going through the LAST TWELVE years, why do we have to feel sorry for them?

i know i don't feel sorry for them.

You know even though I hate the Eagles it must be pretty crappy for Eagles fans to have to go through some sort of saga, involving McNabb, everytime they turn around.

Historical Dates: April 17, 1999 - Dononvan McNabb is selected by the Philadelphia Eagles when the fans proceed to boo him out of da house.

It started from jumpstreet.

Reid also said he disagreed with some players, including McNabb, who have said the Eagles need to acquire more playmakers.

“I think we’ve got pretty good playmakers where we’re at,” Reid said.

You tell 'em, Andy.

It's great to see the chaos in Philly. When quarterbacks get toward the end of their careers, even the great ones, it usually ends ugly. Favre and Elway are notable exceptions.

Does anyone else see any way that this does not end ugly for the Eagles? McNabb is sure to go into another season as their starter, yet another year older and with more injuries to his already fragile body (and ego).

There is no way he makes it through the season. It will be like a weekly death march, with local sports radio fans calling for his head as they rack up the losses.

I haven't even mentioned their other greybeards like Jon Runyan and Brian Dawkins.

This is gonna be fun!

NO ONE CALLING EAGLES ABOUT MCNABB

Posted by Michael David Smith on April 2, 2008, 4:55 p.m.

Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid says he has not heard from a single team showing interest in trading for quarterback Donovan McNabb.

And although Reid hasn’t completely ruled out trading McNabb, he doesn’t sound like he expects it to happen. Peter King of SI.com reports that when Reid was asked whether he would trade McNabb if he “got a ridiculous offer,” Reid answered, “No,” and then paused and said, “Probably not.”

Reid did say “probably” instead of “definitely,” so this is not the last time we’ll hear speculation that the Eagles will trade McNabb. But they appear set to go into another season with McNabb as the starter.

As for the No. 2 spot, which belonged to A.J. Feeley last year, Reid said of 2007 second-round pick Kevin Kolb, “he’ll compete for that spot this year in training camp.”

Reid also said he disagreed with some players, including McNabb, who have said the Eagles need to acquire more playmakers.

“I think we’ve got pretty good playmakers where we’re at,” Reid said.

Get a playmaker at QB and you'll be set Andy.

i just saw on PTI their "happy trails segments" THey said Donovan was leaving philly. is this true or just their speculation?

Might be an OK backup for Romo, if he'll work for league minimum...

I disagree, we like to have a PASSING GAME...not a dump-and-run (i just made that up) offense
