NO ONE CALLING EAGLES ABOUT MCNABB

Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid says he has not heard from a single team showing interest in trading for quarterback Donovan McNabb.
And although Reid hasn’t completely ruled out trading McNabb, he doesn’t sound like he expects it to happen. Peter King of SI.com reports that when Reid was asked whether he would trade McNabb if he “got a ridiculous offer,” Reid answered, “No,” and then paused and said, “Probably not.”
Reid did say “probably” instead of “definitely,” so this is not the last time we’ll hear speculation that the Eagles will trade McNabb. But they appear set to go into another season with McNabb as the starter.
As for the No. 2 spot, which belonged to A.J. Feeley last year, Reid said of 2007 second-round pick Kevin Kolb, “he’ll compete for that spot this year in training camp.”
Reid also said he disagreed with some players, including McNabb, who have said the Eagles need to acquire more playmakers.
“I think we’ve got pretty good playmakers where we’re at,” Reid said.
