McNabb Won't Suit Up for Eagles Tomorrow, Feeley to Start

I used to like McNabb-until he made his guarantee "We'll be back" statement after losing that Super Bowl.

Not EVERYONE. They don't hate Santa Clau...

I see your point.

Last year when Jeff Garcia was booed by the fans in that Carolina game-did anyone noticed that they CHEERED when went to the sidelines with an apparent injury prior to that?

Cheering other teams' injury is classless, but cheering injuries to your OWN players(and Garcia was having an INCREDIBLE game to boot)??!!

This has nothing to do with the topic, but how do I get rid of the line above my empty signature?

Or was that your intelligent talk for starting the regular season?

There's a very unintelligent response to you, but I guess I'm just not intelligent enough to sling unitellectual comments back at intelligent posters like yourself.

BTW ...remember Vince Young...he thought he was starting for the Titans a couple of days prior to their preseason game ...I guess you have to be able to read to know that you can't believe everything that's written on paper.

Nonsense PT. They even hated the best baseball player the city ever had.

I fixed it for you.

Well i didn' know Kolb was such a bad boy, that he would be breaking curfew, and get suspended for the game. You didn't tell me you had such bad boys on your team.

The first step is admitting you have a problem. And by the way PT, how is Ryan Fowler doing?

If Kolb were starting could you imagine the QB controversy hype in Philly?

you wont have to imagine for long... I think Andy gets Kold in there at some point this year.. let the controversy begin.

Of course he will. The girl thats suppose to start, is gonna start her crying around week 2 about her little knee, and go back on IR, where she belongs.

Definitely good that he sits the first one out.

I would like to see how Curtis and Spikes do in their first game.

Most of the secondary isn't even playing in the game ( Dawkins, Sheppard, Brown )

L.J. Smith is still out.

I want to see Bunkley get a lot of playing time.

The Eagles 10 year window has closed... admittedly it has not slammed shut.... but is has closed little by little every year.... they are done.
Losing record this year. Mark it.

Wow, same thing I hear every year from Cowboy fans?

Didn't you already lose a bet by me last year. Do you really want to look foolish again?

Until the Cowboys can prove that they can beat them, the Eagles are staying on top.

In spite of the homers on this forum, the Eagles enter the regular season as the favorites to win the NFC East. As an organization, the Eagles are at the top of the NFC (along with the Seahawks) as far as consistent performance is concerned. I expect no different this year.

I'll make no predictions on how either team (Cowboys or Eagles) will perform this season. I expect both to be competitive but injuries may tell the story. We might see some indications on how the Eagles defense performs this evening but I don't think we get any answers on the offense. Without McNabb, we simply won't see much.

Just because the eagles beat the cowboys doesnt make them the class of the division or a good or great team. The eagles organization has been in steady decline over the last couple of years... its the poor play of the other division teams that has masked that.... that is all.

Go Kolb!

I wonder if the Eagles are planning on keeping 4 QB's. It would seem Kelly Holcomb would be the odd man out.

Brad Johnson or Kelly Holcomb?

Nice find, Holcomb played well up in Buffalo as a backup. I'd take him as our backup.

Mcnabb is going to play this year. But he is not going to be 100 percent. Those type of injuries are hard to heal so fast, especially at 30 when his body has taken so much punishment.

The funny thing is he should just sit out the first few weeks and let it heal up more (maybe even fully) while Kolb or AJ feely gets killed out there. Mcnabb can step in and be the hero.

He probably will opt to play the season opener and play injured unbeknowst to anybody but him and stink it up. Cue Kolb or Feely to step in, and then at the end of the season Mcnabb ends up in Chicago.
