"2. What was going through the mind of the misguided juveniles who used gasoline to desecrate the front lawn of the house in Chandler, Ariz., where McNabb and his wife, Roxie, live with their children over the offseason. According to a friend of Mrs. McNabb’s, “Go Cards” and other similar messages were burned into the front lawn one night last week. This had to be especially scary to the couple’s four-year-old daughter, Alexis, who was staying in the house with Roxie and the couple’s six-week-old twins. Apparently one of the culprits was identified after leaving a box at the scene with a mailing label affixed bearing his name and address, so we’re obviously not talking about criminal masterminds here. But it’s tough to imagine that anyone over the age of eight doesn’t understand that burning something on the lawn of a house occupied by African-Americans carries deeper social overtones that are highly disturbing. I’m told Donovan took a photo of the damaged lawn and used it as a motivating force for Sunday’s game. I hope it’s the last time he or any other professional athlete ever has that opportunity. "

Yes they would, believe me.
It would have been spelled incorrectly, but they would have.
I live here and see & deal with them everyday.
Its more than a reputation, its what they truly are.

a bunch of idiots.

classic example when idiotic fans go to far. who would think something like this was ok to do.

good things these fools got themselves caught. how dumb are you to not only to do this but then leave the empty boxes with youre name and adress on it

OMG!!!

I cannot believe they would go there...

No need to lump all the fans in w/ something a few did. I'll never understand why so many people lump the entire fanbase on something a few stupid/drunk people do. I'm sure there are Cowboy fans that have done stupid things they regret and fans from other teams lumping them together as well, it's just something I'll never understand, I suppose.

Outside of L.A, Phoenix has to be the city filled with the most "Front Runners".

Not a fan of McNabb, but that's ridiculous and completely classless.

while it was classless...I dont think the author should be trying to make it race related.....it was purely sports driven by some idiots....unless Go Cards is a new racial slur I havent heard yet

Hey,no one got hurt. Just a prank. If this happened to a Cowboys player I guarantee the whole sports world would laugh!

That's what I was thinking. This incident wasn't even headed for that implied territory.

Well, at least Cowboy fans appear to have predominately even keeled lives, so much so that they are accused of being dispassionate at Texas Stadium; but at least they have perspective and do not attack people's families or property in a criminal fashion.

Here's to the champagne and caviar reputation, a toast to decency.:thankyou::toast2:
