Zero chance kinlaw goes first
He might not if teams are really worried about his knee. However I think Kinlaw is a more complete pass rusher, and I think that will get drafted over Brown

A few observations from McShay's draft tiers:
  • Despite a tier 4 rank, I might expect QB's Love and Hebert to be drafted in the top 15.
  • Since pre-Combine, DE ends appear to be dropping and DT rising in the current rankings.
  • WR or OT might be the BPA at 17.
  • A trade down might of 5-10 places in the first, might offer the best opportunity to grab value at DE, S, CB and WR in the first 3 rounds.

In my opinion if these players are gone you trade down.
Wr - Jeudy, Lamb, Ruggs
Dt - Kinlaw
De - Chaisson
Cb - Henderson

If the draft plays out like this most likely a QB is still available. Could see Dallas trading down for an extra 3rd.

I would have stopped with the first four.

agree
If Kinlaw is gone I’d love to trade down to 20-25 range and get an extra rd 2 pick
There is a lot of value in rds 2-3

This is the perfect thread to post this. I wanted to start a thread on this but since I'm a new poster, I can't.

I think most mock drafts have these players in front of us.

QB - Burrows, Tagavailoa, Herbert,
WR - Jeudy, Lamb
OT - Thomas, Wirfs, Becton, Wills
DE - Young, Chaisson
DT - Brown, Kinlaw
LB - Simmons
CB - Okudah

Wildcards are Love, Ruggs, CJ Henderson

Do you think there will be a surprise player other than this to get drafted before us? We could pounce on one of these players that falls to us. I'm hoping either Jeudy, Lamb or Kinlaw to fall to us. Really want Love to go before us. If not, Henderson might get picked and not sure who we pick then. Ruggs would be BPA maybe but a lot of mocks have Xavier McKinney if it falls that way. Not sure how happy I would be with that.

Of course, there are many times the player we really want falls to us and we take a player out of left field. I mean the experts draft boards must look somewhat different than all the NFL teams draft boards. Too bad we can't see every teams draft boards after the draft to evaluate where the players ranked with the NFL teams.

I think we're lucky we sit at 17. There are 17 players I like so we're guaranteed to get one of them. I think that's where the cutoff is. If we had pick #18 and all the players below got picked, not sure who I would want. Probably Xavier McKinney.

QB - Burrows, Tagavailoa, Herbert,
WR - Jeudy, Lamb, Ruggs
OT - Thomas, Wirfs, Becton, Wills
DE - Young, Chaisson
DT - Brown, Kinlaw
LB - Simmons
CB - Okudah, Henderson

Because of my post above, I would not trade down if a team wanted to come up looking for QB Love or a WR. Stand pat.
