Anyone have access to the 3 round McShay/Kiper mock they did? I'm interested in how they had all the WRs going.

I watched the 1st round. Kiper had us taking Dix and 9 WR's went in the 1st round. Have not seen the 2nd or 3rd round yet. Quite a few of Kipers picks got the thumbs down from Polian, including ours. He would have taken Barr over Dix.

they had Dallas with
16) Haha Clinton-Dix (we pass on Barr, Gilbert, Mosley)
47) Tim Jernigan (we pass on Ford, Su'a Filo, Lawrence)
78) David Yankey .( we pass on Creighton, B Turner)

insane # of WRs:

2) Watkins..to SL
7) Evans..to TB
10) Beckham..to Detroit
18) Cooks ..to NYJ
22) J Matthews ..to Philly
23) Lee ...to KC
26) Ellington..to Cleveland ( I would bet 1000 against this one)
27) Latimer...to NO
28) Adams...to Carolina
.
2-41) Benjamin..to Buff
2-46) Landry ..to Pitt
2-63) M Bryant..to Denver
2-64) Norwood..to Sea
.
3-72) Moncrief ..to Minn
3-79) Coleman..to Balt
3-89) Herron...to SD
3-94) Brown..to SF

Not gonna try to post the whole thing but they have us ending up with HaHa, Jernigan, and Yankey. Can't say that I'd be too upset with that even though it would not give us a pass rushing DE.

They had Ford and Lawrence still on the board for our 2nd pick and Crichton lasting all the way to #93 past our 3rd.

That is a heck of a draft haul even if it doesn't address the biggest need.

Dream trade down mock where we could 4-5 really good players in the first 3 rounds.

My gut says trade down as well but truth is Dix is SOOO much better than any safety we have.
I know Wilcox may have similar upside but as of them last touching the field it wasn't even close.
Wilcox didn't know where to line up week 17 and Dix was making the DB calls for Saban.

Dallas is apparently committed to giving the child safeties one more year to how up but man that is a real risk... again.

The pair of them really missed the mark with some matchups of prospect with team/scheme.

It is almost like they simply look at position and match to teams with need rather than clearly thinking about the fit.

They placed press man CBs for example to teams running zone etc.

Yeah I like it a lot but Crichton would be really hard to pass on in the 3rd. If we could get Haha, Jernigan, Crichton, and BPA o line in the 4th it would be even better

That would be a good trio, but I'd rather try to figure out a way to get both Donald and Jernigan, which would shore up the middle for years with Melton.

I couldn't pass on Crichton in the 3rd but love the OG too. I'd have to try to package my 4 and a 7 plus a 5th next year to get into 3 again for whichever I didn't take.
OL run pretty shallow about round 4. Probably a big drop off.

I'd be pleasantly surprised if Jernigan fell to us at 47.

I don't love Jernigan but it he would certainly be OK in the second IMO. It would really depend on who was still on the board.
