McShay/Kiper mock

OK, hard to complain about the top 2 but if we took Yankey over Crichton or Turner I think I would punch something.

I heard Mel Kiper on ESPN radio this morning. He said it wasn't a mock draft. They weren't picking players based on who they thought the teams would pick. They chose the players based on who they liked and would be good fits if they were the GMs of those teams. Perhaps it isn't a big difference from a mock, but I do see a slight difference.

True, but when you are putting guys that aren't fits with teams it really is kind of a waste of time. As mentioned above, putting zone corners on man teams and vice versa is dumb. Putting zone blockers on man blocking teams and vice versa is dumb. Putting 3-4 OLBs at DE is dumb.

That's because neither Kiper and McShay really know what team's needs are. It was an fun to watch especially when Polian gave the "thumbs down" to a few of Kipers picks, but other than that, I don't put much stock into those two guys.

9 WRs in the first round would be soooo sweet.
