28. Dallas - Tim Williams OLB Alabama
Williams' 2015 tape was better than his 2016 tape. He also added a misdemeanor gun charge to his record. The Cowboys have shown they're not afraid to take chances on talented prospects with character baggage. And make no mistake: Williams is talented, with 19.5 sacks the past two seasons. He shows excellent first-step quickness and explosive power.

29. Green Bay - Alvin Kamara RB Tennessee
30. Pittsburgh - Charles Harris OLB Missouri
31. Atlanta - Quincy Wilson CB Florida
32. New England - Haasan Reddick LB Temple

Watson will not go #2. He might be the most overrated of the 3 top QBs in this draft IMO. Great college QB, though.

2. San Francisco - Deshaun Watson QB Clemson
Yea, can't him him going this high

4. Jacksonville - Jamal Adams S LSU
Don't really like this pick for Jacksonville. I guess espn doesn't like Dalvin Cook here, but I really like him as the pick

17. Washington - Jabrill Peppers S Michigan
I think Washington plans on playing Sua Cravens at SS full time this year, which means this won't be the pick

28. Dallas - Tim Williams OLB Alabama
Given how we have done nothing but strike out on guys with character flaws, I don't see how anyone can predict us taking him. Also, I really hope he goes before our pick.

Without the drug tests failures(only reported by shady walterfootball) he would be out of reach.Garrett had good connections at Alabama and we will know if he is off our board.

This may not make any sense, but the only issue I have with Alabama players is that they are surrounded by so much talent, some players may look better than they are because the guy next to him is being doubled teamed. I don't know enough about Williams to know if this is the case. I'm sure our scouts will figure that one out.
I once had a defense end named first team All State with 20 sacks his senior year. He was great, but the true MVP on our defense that year was the guy next to him. At 6'1". 300 lbs with a bench press of 425 he had to be doubled and triple teamed on almost every play. Just my 2 cents.

Would the gun charge be a crime in Texas?

Pretty sure sitting in a parked car smoking weed with a gun under the seat without a permit is pretty universally frowned upon. State lines won't help stupidity.

I agree walterfootball being the only one reporting the failed drug tests is a little weird, but it's also pretty well known that Saban is pretty far from a hardass when it comes to that kinda stuff. I mean, Williams' arrest happened on a Thursday during the season and all he got was suspended for a 1/2 and that's it. A few failed drug tests for weed that aren't mandatory to report? Yeah I can definitely see that getting swepted under the rug.

Yes. Williams is the second best pass rusher in this draft, on talent alone. To me, if he is clean at the Combine, it's worth a shot at 28. I haven't seen anyone other than Walter Football report the failed drug tests. We'll see.

If Harris is on the board I have a hard time thinking we would pick Williams over Harris
Exactly. But other than I think Dallas would go for Harris over Williams, thats a decent mock at this point. The combine will solve the Watson vs Trubisky

No,No ,no, . . . . . . . . . .NO. Lets get some one who will be with us the beginning of the season. That means either by injury or suspension. I like
Taco or Charles Harris as that pick and/or second pick. Better to have two very good players instead of one that may or may not be with us a full season.

One other thing to consider, what happens if the NFL "legalizes" pot? The NFL has a working group investigating the use of pot as a medical treatment. The value of guys like Gregory and Williams would be much greater if they could not be suspended for pot.

TUSCALOOSA, AL (WIAT) — Alabama star linebacker Tim Williams was arrested for carrying a gun without a permit early Thursday morning.

Williams and another man were in the Publix parking lot on University when an officer on patrol smelled marijuana coming from their vehicle, according to the police report. Officers searched the vehicle and found a clear twist top bag with marijuana in the front console and a Glock 41 under the driver’s side seat.

Williams told officers the vehicle was his. According to the report, Williams and the driver were both Mirandized and agreed to questioning: the driver, identified as Tykeem J.D. Dunaway admitted he was holding the marijuana for a friend.

Give me Harris in that situation. Let Williams go to a 3-4 team where he'd not have to take on the run as a RE in a 4-3.
