Dareus, Jordan, Watt would make more sense. Dareus can play all three spots and is just the kind of brute you look for like Ngata and Raji.GloryDaysRBack;3862766 said:As 5 techniques

People scream Chris Long and Justin Smith because they aren't sure how else to compare, but Watt is going to be in the league a long time.

Greg Ellis was in the league a long time, still shouldn't have been taken in the top ten.Avery;3862842 said:When I think of the Watt pick, I think of a guy who will go out and play and not be concerned with how much he is making or what he didn't care. 6-5/290, 4.77 speed, 34 reps, 37 vert, 10 foot broad jump.
20 TFL's and 7 sacks this year.
14 PBU's the last 2 years. Unheard of from a DE.

I was commenting on the he'll play in the league for a long time as a reason to take him. If that's the reason it's dumb. The Realist;3862928 said:Watt is much bigger and a better athlete than Ellis was.
For the vast majority of his career Ellis played on a 4-3 DL with 1.5 to 2 players on it. Amazingly he got better when Ware and Rat came on the scene.
He also played most of his career with a mediocre O and was therefore always playing from behind.
Worst of both worlds.
