I agree, but you would have more big plays if you blitzed!
Yes, more big plays against you. It looks like a great idea until we blitz and the other team scorches us.

How many games has Tony started since 2014 by the way?
I was thinking about this the other day. I was actually wondering. Is that his game plan? Blitz occasionally come regular season, and then completely change your game plan in the playoffs? I mean, it would be like Rocky fighting right handed until the 15th and then switching to southpaw. Worked out well for him.Why does Marinelli just absolutely refuse to blitz? I get you don't want to do it all the time for fear of getting burned, but I think we should do it early and often to at least make the QB weary of it.
It worked well last year against Washington, the game we won without Romo.
We aren't getting to the QB. At all. We NEED to change it up. I hope he's more aggressive in the playoffs.

Oh, we blitz. You just can't tell. That's the problem.I agree, but you would have more big plays if you blitzed!
Team goals > Individual goals. I think Zeke would agree

We may occasionally bring 5 but rarely do we really blitz. I think we probably bring 3 rushers more than we bring 5 but that mat be an exaggeration - I am not sure.
Because we aren't good at it. At present, if we do we will most likely bet burned deep. Without Mo on the back end we would be in trouble. Why does Marinelli just absolutely refuse to blitz? we will see. Im just excited to think of the opportunities this offseason for our defense.I actually wondered the same thing.
The absolute best pass rusher we have is Orlando Scandrick on the blitz. Yikes.
Apples and orangesHow many games did Peyton Manning start in 2011? You know, before he set records and won another Super Bowl?
Yeah, me too. If Jaylon Smith pans out, make a FA signing, and draft defense in round 1 and 2, we could turn it around in one off-season.we will see. Im just excited to think of the opportunities this offseason for our defense.
