To be fair to the Cowboys, both those games were on the road. Eagles have won big win on the road against the Chiefs. 49ers best win was the Cowboys and haven’t beaten a quality opponent yet on the road. Lions lost to both Seahawks and Packers at home, but beat a wounded Chiefs team on the road.
How do you define a quality opponent?

Everything he said is true
Except it's not. A .500 team isn't a winning team. Never has been considered as such, not when coached by Tomlin or any other coach.

You will always have outliers of people picking a likely loser on any game, it doesn't mean anything. The vast majority were picking Dallas against the Jets and NE. Were the few, wherever they were, who picked AZ to win crazy?

The Cowboys weren't on a 27 year Super Bowl drought before 1992.
Only fools and the media bring up that stupid drought. You are not entitled to a super bowl. If YOU are not enjoying the brand of football being played, then simply don't watch, this is entertainment, I won't watch something if I'm not being entertained.

Loser mentality. I can be entertained watching clowns. No one is going to tell me to stop watching and rooting for a team I been a major fan of since 1976.
I am entitled to championships

I think what he meant is, that when they mention Tomlin they always say how he never had a losing season. When you finish .500 it's not considered a losing season, but obviously that's different now with the 17 game season.

Some on this board are mentioning the Cowboys haven't beaten any team with a winning record, that these wins are meaningless.
I haven’t seen that, but if so, it’s just more proof of how stupid some of the fans are here. There’s only 17 games and one loss could come back to haunt you. The loss to AZ in week 3 may end up costing us the NFC East.

Says the loser who gets emotional over a kids game lmao. I have no bearings on them losing or winning, so when the Cowboys lose I don't lose and when they win I don't win. Maybe in your loser life it affects you, but do you boo boo. I bet you also chastise a waitress if she gets your order wrong.

So you don't care either way. Go get a hobby and give up watching football. Me a loser? I played on district champion football teams. Since when is football only a kids game? Adults play it too.

Right. .500 isn't losing. But it's not considered winning like he said.

Seemed a little like a rant, so might have just been somewhat disorganized thoughts.

Some on this board are mentioning the Cowboys haven't beaten any team with a winning record, that these wins are meaningless. The Cowboys will have more opportunities to beat a winning team down the stretch, but these wins are far from meaningless if they finished tied in the division, inside the conference or even a three way tie:

-Divisional Records are extremely important. Yes, Eagles have a 2 game lead in the loss column, but only 1 game better in the division. If Dallas beats Seattle and the Eagles lose to either the Bills or 49ers, the Cowboys can tie the Eagles if they win the next head to head matchup. Very possible scenario.

Next Divisional game are:

Common Games (they lost to the Jets and probably will beat the Cardinals) We still have to play Miami
Conference Record (This is where the Cardinal loss could come back to haunt us)
"Strength of Victory"-this is where killing those bad teams come into play

These all come into play outside the division as well.

Yes, probably looking at a #5 see again, but it is possible that strength of victory tie breaker could come into play.

Each win is important, no matter the opponent.
Any win is meaningful.
However some wins are more significant than others.

Yep, and it could be the year it all changes. Such as in 1992.
Most everyone thought the Cowboys were too young, not ready for SF. Many hoped Dallas could just stay in the game.
The 92 team has Jimmy. This team has no such influence over it. They have yet to prove that they have any fight in them when things are not going their way.

Had Jimmy? In hindsight on that.
Up to that point I remember some questioned Jimmy and Jerry still. The jury was still out on what they were doing was right.

No win is meaningless. It makes no difference how inept the competition is, the win still counts the same in the win column. A 3 point win againt a good team counts just as much as a 30 point win against a pathetic team. They all count the same.
