When the Cowboys played a tough outing vs Houston Texans and WON, you would have thought that Dallas loss the game the way Dak, Zeke, McCarthy and the rest of the team were getting raked over the coals for struggling against a one-win team.

Well the Chiefs struggled with this same one-win Houston Texans team yesterday and went all the way into overtime with them. The Chiefs are a better team than the Cowboys with better quarterbacking and coaching..... so where is all the blowback??? Where is all the BS that was tossed at the Cowboys for struggling against this one-win Texans team???? Where is all the concern???

Hmmm... that aroma of hypocrisy smells quite familiar.

It's so funny. Some of y'all scream up and down to not pay attention to the media because they're slanted, etc. but then can't help going over to peak in on what they're saying "just in case" it's bad so you can "have a laugh" at what they do. I'll bet the media's best customers are the ones that say to not pay attention to them because of their tricks and then those same people go back to confirm that the media is running those tricks so they can say, "See? I was right." while getting mad all over again to play the game they want you to play in watching. The house (media) always wins.

Thus far this season any time Dallas has lost a game the following week we have destroyed teams. Lost to Philly next week Blasted Detroit allowing 6 points and putting up 24, Lost to GB and next week blasted Minn allowing 3 points and putting 40 on them. After Tampa Bay lost Dallas won in a game they were big underdogs vs Cinn. I'm disappointed in how Dallas played but now more interested in how they respond to the loss

I have to say, the Texans were the hardest hitting, most physical team Dallas played all year. If they played that wasy against the Chiefs I can see why they took that game into overtime.

But less is made of it because it means less. With Dallas it's a trend, and with KC it's an anomaly.

No it doesn't it mean less because people make less of it. No doubt KC is a very good team 14 point favorite to win the game. As I pointed out Dallas has yet to lose back to back vs any team this year and have responded with blowout wins.

As a rule the media overstates and understates everything for ratings, nothing is exactly how they portray it. Sometimes though I think they get caught up in their own BS, I'll bet Rich Eisen could take back all ignorance he spewed at Michael Irvin on Sunday :muttley:

The Chiefs have the best QB in football and just clinched their 7th straight division title. There's no reason for media to talk about them and the Cowboys the same way.

The best QB barely beating the Texans? That makes even worse! :lmao: According to the haters here Dak sucks, can't throw past 10 yards, below average, etc, etc. So the OP makes a GREAT point.

With El Jefe making a thread yesterday so people can bash Dak more, and with some moderators here laughing at all the Dak hate posts, I can why a poster was allowed to wish death on Dak. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves for letting him post that and letting it stay. Pathetic!!

Learn to read kid. That's definitely not what I said. No need to lie to join the discussion lil guy.

Insults. The last bastion of defense for the debater with nothing of substance to lean on.

Don't feel like playing that game, but I will say that is 100% exactly what you said.
you were decrying the "hypocrisy" of people not treating Dak and the Cowboys with the same level of deference that Mahomes and the Chiefs get.

Once again, I'll say that demanding equivalent assessment for two such clearly inequivalent players and teams, is hypocritical.

That kind of respect is earned. Not given.
Mahomes and the Chiefs have earned it.
Dak and the Cowboys have not.

that simple.

I totally agree and the Jax team we played yesterday is not the same team earlier in the season. Neither is Houston. Colts also. All are playing better than what they were earlier.
asis cincinnati. Not certain wed beat them again and certainly not with rush

That coach and that QB has won SB and been to championship games. The Coach and our QB hasn't done anything. They have a team that gets the benefit of the doubt because everyone has seen them do it before. The Cowboys haven't done squat. One team people believe in and the other is all hype. Want to change the narrative, win something.

I'd love to see dallas win it all and shove it up their butts
when we do win it all they'll just spin it as "they won one after 27 years anyone can do that"

i only want a superbowl for myself so i can get shirtless public and ask how does #6 taste

Great points, but that was another season. They are more capable of destroying the Texans than we are, so that's all hypocritical excuses honestly. For the record our coach has won a Superbowl. Not with us, but he's won a championship.

It's about what have you done lately. Past Superbowl glory is great, but it doesn't mean you can ride the wave of past glory when you struggle to beat a team you should be able to destroy 4 or 5 years later.

If past glory means something, why isn’t Nick Foles a starter somewhere??? This man has a statue outside of an NFL stadium. Can he go get a job based on what he's done a couple years ago and having a statue??? I don't believe that will work.

(By no means am I saying Foles is on the same level as Mahomes)

Your last bastion of defense for your debate was telling lies. You said something that I clearly didn't say.

With that said, they both struggled to lead their teams to victory against a one-win Texans team. The Chiefs are better at quarterbacking postion and coaching than we are, but we didn't need overtime to win the game like they did. So they should have been scrutinized more.

That simple.

It's not just media. It's haters here that do the same thing but move the goal posts in situations like this.

That was like in week 8 when I was watching one of the NFL media outlets and they were giving Dallas a hard time for their win over Chicago. Basically saying it wasn't an impressive win as Chicago was 3-5, but turned around in that same segment and said the Eagles win against the 2-6 Steelers was really good because the Steelers were a "hungry team" and dangerous. haha I just sat there and laughed.

You can show people video proof of what happened on a play but their emotion and pride will see what it needs to see instead. If getting them to admit they were wrong on something is the goal, I have a stone I'd like you to extract blood from. And I want it to be AB- specifically. Lol.

Not that hard to understand - KC has been to two Super Bowls recently and won one. They have a proven core with an MVP QB and are still in the hunt for the top seed in the AFC. We saw KC come back from a 24-7 deficit in the playoffs...when you have skins on the wall like that then the media will respect you and won't act like the sky is falling over a close regular season game.

The Cowboys have not advanced far in the playoffs in 25 years. They don't get the benefit of the doubt yet.
How people cannot see tge difference is obvious ignorance

Not really.

Good try though.
