So you like Dragnet huh?

Bored much?

And what would you like to hear about right now regarding the Cowboys?

Last season. People will say the media is bringing up old news.

The draft. They are, but it's still more than a month away so why get it all out now?

The roster. How many more articles do you want on Keith Brooking?

Jerry Jones. He hasn't said anything in a few days. Can't a man have a minute to breath?

Terrell Owens. Go to Buffalo.com.

Tony Romo. He's working with Roy Williams at Valley Ranch.

A football game. Call me in August.

If the media worked how you wanted it to work we would not here talking about the Cowboys. This would be a ghost town.

Easy, now. I realize that you've grown tired of all the negativity concerning the media and all but this was my first jab at them. I never said I didn't want to hear, talk or read about Cowboys news. I just wish they would stop making up fantasy trade talk to fill their time slot. You're right when it comes to this place being empty w/o the media, though. By the way, never saw Dragnet. Good flick?

Stop acting like the big bad media is out to get everyone.

I'm not. I'm pointing out the preposterous nature of many in the media. I'm not even against Cutler coming to Dallas in a trade for Romo.

But, it's not going to happen. Can't afford to.

And why do the same people whine and cry about the media over and over again only when it's something they don't want to hear.

It's so tired.

Well, maybe if you wouldn't put words in my mouth you would have a point.

I'm not against Cutler being traded for Romo. Pretty much the same type of player...big production, lots of errors. Cutler is younger, bigger arm, doesn't fumble as much. I'd consider it.

But, it's not going to happen.

And some of the media are reporting that they have 'sources' with the Cowboys seriously considering it.

It's BS and the same people come in here and whine and cry that poor ole media is getting beat up again.

No one has said reporters never lie. That's a creation of his imagination.

Sure, when it's proven without a shadow of a doubt that the writer lied like Albom, Finkel and Blair.

But you and a few others on this board have shown time and time again that you take everything the media writes pretty much at face value.

So no, you acknowledge those who have been caught dead to rights of lieing that they did in fact lie, but when the rubber hits the road you and others on this board always believe the media regardless if the evidence points otherwise.

And it's a way to cast possible doubt on the stories which came from Valley Ranch this past season. Even though almost every media outlet, Jerry Jones, players, front office personnel, etc., confirmed the stories one way or the other, posters still want to cry the media fabricated stories. Pulease.

Just like the Watkins story on the plane being late?

lol.....

That fat turd was jealous that a QB was repping more weight on the bench than he was at 100 pounds less.

Brady is the truth and will win a playoff game before Tony (I hope not). Tony has the leadership qualities of a tick and for as much as he wows us with his (escapability) , he is a fumble/INT/poor decision waiting to happen.

So go root for the Browns then.

Yes, but this reporter has sources and reporters never lie or make stuff up or find sources that will just say what they want them to say.

Never.

YAKUZA

you're taking one extreme. no one said never. just that it wasn't really that hard to believe. and it obviously wasn't. move on.

Love how some here still try and defend the media. Liars and crooks and con men. And those are the ones that are halfway competent.
Someone here really sets the bar low anymore....

LOL. Talk about the bar being low.

Instead you try and mask your attack by using the term 'someone'.

Holy weak Batman!

And I can't wait to see you in another thread jumping for joy about some article because it's about something you would love to see happen.

Where are these articles where the media say they have sources with the Cowboys seriously considering it? lol.

And Romo fumbles more than Cutler.

Romo fumbles when he gets hit by a defender. I just watched the replay of the Denver-San Diego game the other day to check out Olshansky and i saw Cutler fumble twice. And both the freaking ball flew out of his hand while he was bringing his arm back to throw a pass.

They should have lost the game because of his silly fumble!!!

But because the Ref screwed up they kept the football and he got another shot to throw a TD.

No thanks.... I'd rather watch grass grow than do that.

I'll watch the Browns games if its on CBS and the Colts arent playing as long as it doesnt conflict with my Boys games.

But I will have my diamond sleeper pick in Quinn for fantasy.
